Patching questions

well im new to patching and everything i wanted to know how to just put patches like jerseys and faces on ( with out crashing ) i know how to do rosters but when i do the jerseys i never works ( i used the Tutorials ) can someone post or email me ( donjuan23903952@aol.com ) explaing to me in simpler terms how to do jerseys and faces thanks
