Can you install 2000 on some XP computers?

Does anyone here think you can install NBA Live 2000 on some computers with XP on them. My mom's computer has XP and I used to play it on their until I got a new computer with 98. I may try it but if it doesn't work I did that for nothing!

it works on xp. but i think there is an update needed so the menus and stuff wont be fucked up.

mmh you think there's an update... there has never been any update of this kind for Live 2000

Well it does'nt work anyway. I already tryed to install it and it came up with a error message while installing the game.

I've been able to install and run it without any problems on XP...though I can't get some of the other earlier titles to work. No problems running NBA Live 2000 and beyond, though.

Ok guys I was finnaly able to somehow get 2000 to run on XP. :mrgreen:

Every now and then it will have a error. But for now I can deal with it. I love 2000 in XP. I haven't played NBA Live 2000 smoothly since April 15 of this year!

Hopefully it will work smoothly for now.

Hey RadioShaq want to play via ip address since noone else wants to.

I had some problems at first getting live 200 to work on xp then i got it working but it would freeze somtimes when i was in the menus but i got a new graphics card now it dosent freeze wierd. But the game kinda looks funny its not smooth looking you cant really tell while playing though.

I installed NBA Live 2000 this summer and it worked flawlessly in XP. It was also VERY fast and the graphics were great (even though my vid card wasn't....just goes to show how outdated the graphics engine for 2000 really was lol)

when i say updates.....i mean winxp updates.... i think there was a thread that helps guys with xp. like you have to right click the shortcut and scroll to the compatibilty stuff, something like that. but home editions of xp are always buggy anyways. sorry for my bad
