ATI Radeon 9600XT and NBA Live 2000 works

Have looked through the postings over the past few years and have seen some references offering help on Radeon cards. None of these work for me. Does anyone have a definitive fix?

Is NBA 2005 any good? Might have to purchase. Am looking for realisitic simulation.

Looked back over some earlier posts and found this worked!
Right click on desktop.
CLick on settings tab.
GO to direct 3D tab.
Click on "compatability settings" button at bottom right of this screen
Disable DXT.
This worked for my Radeon 9600XT - hope it works for you.

Disabling DXT will have problems with new games? or should we enable it again every time we close nba 2000. plz help. AND WHAT is that DXT, is it so necessary?
