Hey guys maybe you could help me out on this one.

i created some more rookies for this season via the DBF (i use DBF commander). what i did was just copy the record of one player and pasted it several times for the number of rookies i wanted to add. then i edited their individual records (names, attributes, ratings).

i started the game and made additional corrections in the create/edit player window (like changing black players to the correct white ones, adding facial features, accessories etc.).

what happened though was when i played the game, some of the rookies i created stayed with black heads even though i already changed them into white skinned ones. their bodies are correct but their heads were that of black players.

i checked the edit player window and the skin colors/head shapes are correct there.

where do you think i should make the proper editing so my new players would come out right?

What does your PLAYERPKG(in players.dbf) say about those odd players? If there are 4 capital letters in this column, this might be the problem. I haven't figured it out yet, but somehow, these values are responsible for the players' heads.
My suggestion would be not to copy and paste players in the .dbf, but to create them in the game and change their appearance there. This should fix the problem. The non-appearance-related ratings can be altered in the players.dbf file, of course.
