I'd also like to point out it's nearly 10GB's less then last year. It looks like its been a bit more compressed this year.

I assume so... if we download in time. I got school on Friday anyways so I have a couple extra hours to be less bored waiting for it.

Only 40GB? I could download that in one day. Maybe I'm ready for Release if GMG sends out the Key early tomorrow. I'm pretty sure last Year it was like ~55-60GB. Maybe the preload is packed and if you download after Release it downloads it unpacked.

Yeah, the pre-load is compressed, which is why it takes like an hour to play a game when it's released when you have a pre-load. It's unpacking.

Well I'd rather wait extra 30mins than download extra 20GB. They should pack all Games over 20GB like that, would save me a lot of time

It took me two hours to download 3GB.... it takes you half an hour.

Anyways... it will probably be the same as 2K15, around 50GB as TBM pointed out.

Only preload works if you bought from steam ? Cause i purchased cdkey from different site so i have to wait till i get a key to be able start downloading?

yeah will prob only take me 3-4 hours, got a good connection, and most of my housemates will be at work.

still would like the key as early as possible just to get hyped

Do I need the game key to pre-load ? Mine will probably arrive in a game-case in a few days

I assume that you have to enter your cdkey to activate game, than it will start downloading :/

I purchased the game from Steam to save the hastle that you're experiencing. I think you get your CD keys the night before 25th (atleast that is what everyone is saying on reddit). You have to make the game download it won't download by itself when you put the key in.

Yeah, GMG gets the keys tomorrow, at which point you can pre-load. Obviously you can't preload without a key...
