NBA 2K16 PC Facescan?

Does anybody know if there will be a facescan feature for the PC version? For example through Android/iOS app or something?

EA has shown it's possible to do it via an Android or iOS device, so hopefully it will happen in the future. It'll certainly get around the issue of not having standard cameras on PC, and save users from buying new hardware...assuming their device is supported, of course.

If we won't be able to scan our faces in on PC, I hope we can find out a way to mod our faces in the game without having to replace a real players face and actually have our own head models, but sounds like a lot of work. I'm really hoping for some type of PC support for facescan.

Yeah I'm not surprised. The way I got my face into the game last year on PC was replacing someone else's face that resembled closest to mine. It wasn't that good. My facescan for PS4 version was what I was aiming for but since I couldn't change the hair or adjust face/head shape it was no good. I honestly don't care if we have to buy a separate camera just to scan our face in the PC version, but look at LIVE they use our phone camera but it's not as good as the camera for PS4/XBone.

Must be trolling. First of all, Live don't even have a PC version at all. Second, if you have a PS4 and you like Face scan, it's already there on 2k16

Live 16 is nowhere near perfect, but I did like some things from the demo.

EA can suck my salty after-gym workout nuts. Ever since they abandoned the PC (allegedly for piracy), they haven't made one red cent off of me.

Reminds me of the story of the guy who ran a store and had a few candy bars stolen and subsequently decided to shut the entire store down. Yup, he's raking it in now.

Or, more than likely, EA just wasn't making coin on PC sales. Sure, on some level it's a self-fulfilling prophecy, because they were releasing dogshit PS2 ports, but it is what it is.

Yeah, as disappointed as I was that EA stopped supporting the PC platform, I'm not about to take it personally. It was a business decision at the end of the day, and piracy was only ever our speculation, not a reason that they mentioned. Also worth noting that 2K wasn't in a rush to release on PC until EA bowed out, and there have been issues with the PC version in the past. As I said, it's frustrating, it's disappointing, but I'm not taking it personally.
