This Years 2K16 Updates

I was thinking guys.. Perhaps im wrong, but i dont remember a time like this where the info delivery on the upcoming game has been so deliberately scanty and just lacking. I mean, yea we got a few body scans and a mouth guard video for stef but once upon a time with the game releasing less than two months away we would be blessed with an actual demo by now- at least on the consoles. We have barely got but a few screenshot just a few days ago and some video of a new feature in the proAM, we still dont see video footage of actual gameplay on NBA courts, we dont see screenshots of the courts showing off lightening details and etc. What do you guys think? am i just being unreasonable here?

We've already gotten gameplay footage, and the official gameplay trailer will still come, and also a #Momentous trailer, I'm sure. Just be patient.

But thats sort of my point. The game is releasing sept 29th, its already available for pre-order on steam and we dont even have an official trailer yet?. I wasnt saying im expecting a demo from them what i said was long gone are the days they would release a demo at least on console to test the game out way before it was released. They didnt even have a presence in this year's E3 or gamerscom. No im not confused. I think my points are very valid. Yea, perhaps im a little impatient and excited but that doesnt take away from these observations. what do you guys think?

This is how 2K handled the preview season a few years back; not a lot of details or lengthy gameplay footage for the first few months, a lot of info rushed out in the final weeks before release. So in that respect, it's not unprecedented.

I guess I'm a little surprised by it though, given that there was mention of something that would revolutionise player movement and animations on an episode of 2KTV. Given the grumbling over getting stuck in animations in previous 2K games, I'd have thought pushing that and revealing it fairly early on would be a big part of getting pre-orders and hyping everyone up for the game.

First full-length trailer for 2K15 (Yakkem) was released on August 25, 2014. Apparently we can expect some news/gameplay around that day.

First 5v5 2K15 gameplay was September 18, 2014. 2K16 5v5 gameplay soon, but not too soon.

Lots of stuff will be adjustable by devs without need for big patches (it will work similar to roster updates).

Trailers apparently show more than you realize for the first time watching it.
