Is this official from 2K? Because if some College teams are in the game (if it's true), I'm thinking the HD space req should be quite bigger unless they compressed it this time.

Also, still no DirectX 12 support?

Steam.

"Still". You¨re acting like DX12 is already released for a year or two.

Well it seems that it requires less from the CPU. The recommended for 2k15 was an i7 or better.

Only for few weeks, they changed it to i5 before launch.

Would GTX 750Ti 2GB be good enough for max settings at 1080p?

Based on those requirements, probably. Tough to make any firm declarations about performance before the game comes out.

As NBA2K15 really needed stable 60 FPS during gameplay to appear smooth, I'd say that 750 Ti will not make it at max settings (definitely not with AA).

No way for 750Ti, but who knows maybe they worked a little on optimalization.

So let me get this straight. If I had no problems running 2k15, I should run 2k16 just fine ?

Difficult to say how well optimised a game is before we've actually got our hands on it, but on lower settings, you could get away with that. It exceeds the minimum requirements.

Thanks for the quick response Andrew. I felt a bit bad when you said only on low settings. Can you advise me on what parts do I need to upgrade to have a decent fps (for high/ultra high) at the same has a cheap price..

Processor, RAM, video card. Basically, for a good experience, you should be looking to match or exceed the recommended requirements.

Yeah, you'd basically have to buy a whole new computer to play the game at max settings. Other than maybe the power supply, you'd have to replace pretty much everything.

The PSU that comes with that is a generic (no brand) one. Not enough for high-powered activities. The only item that's worth keeping in that bundle for gaming is the MoBo, only if it supports i5. Oh and the RAM, but upgrade it to 8GB.

That PC is seriously unbalanced and weak for modern gaming. Not to mention these pre-built PCs usually have some knock-off parts or cheap out on important parts like PSU (there is no way in hell that PC need 600W which implies it's some crappy PSU that might as well be a potential fire hazard).

First you need to establish budget.

^^ Are you some kind of expert? Just askin, because my friend runs 2K15 just fine on his Intel core 2 duo core processor with 3GHZ, 8 gigs of ram and a Radeon video card, and 1ti hard drive. If the requirements haven't increased any, he should be able to run 2K16 fine, correct? Sometimes, there are "exceptions to the rule"
