How do you edit defense matchup?

I'm playing Warriors against Rockets and K. Thompson is set to guard P. Beverly and S. Curry is set to guard T. Arisa. How do I edit it so that K. Thompson is guarding J. Harden and S. Curry is guarding P. Beverly?

In the menu during the paused game, there is a section called "Matchups". You can change who is guarding who there. Also, if you don't want those matchups to be changed on their own, go in the coaching settings and set the "AI coach defensive adjustements" ( or whatever is called, you can't miss it) to "off"

I understand that you can change it in-game. But how do you edit it so that I don't have to change it in game every time. For example, I want to set it up so that S. Curry always guard the PG and K. Thompson always guard the SG on the opposing team? Can this be done the main menu?

Yup, just follow the second part, go to settings- coaching menu and set AI coach defensive adjustment to off. It is the last setting on the coaching menu, this way your PG will defend the opposing PG, SG is set on SG. So you'd have no weird matchups, just position for position defense.

Also in MyLeague and MyGM you can edit teams settings (like player minutes allocations or matchups) per opposing team (or just globally).
