PIP Low in Simulated Games

I checked NBA stats for PIP, thinking the PIP in CPU v CPU games were too high. I discovered the PIP numbers in played games, CPU v CPU, were in line with reality. What's not in line is PIP numbers for simulated games. These average around 20 PPG lower per team than in real life.
