Hey Leftos, can you pass this along to the art department please. Can we get the blue tint removed and have bright lighting in EVERY stadium please? Also darker crowds where appropriate. Thanks.

Hey Leftos thank you for all the feedback you having being giving in the community, that's great to see devs doing this.

Do you have any info into if the sub methods will be looked at?

To try and do away with the 5 on 5 off cpu subbing?

Cheers!

Just checked my settings for 2K15 and realized I had everything high and had a smooth experience. With that said, if the requirements are the same for 2K16, a further optimization patch is required or else 2K should admit and compensate PC gamers for a 'somewhat unplayable' game.

Not trying to be a 'complainer', but I've been loyally playing 2K for years on PC, and bought a new rig to play last year. If it's only gonna be good for 1-3 years then I'd rather be told now so that I don't anticipate (and pay for) this game.

I'm in the exact boat as you (though probably didn't run 2k15 on quite as high settings), and have echoed the same exact sentiments previously. I bought this game with the expectation that I would get an experience equal to or better than 2k15, or else the requirements would have been increased accordingly (right?). At this point I just want to know if my expectations need to be altered...I won't be happy but at least I can just forget about the game sooner or think about playing on a different/better system.

The stuttering on this otherwise excellent game is very frustrating.

Especially in light of the fact that 2K15 didn't have these issues.

Leftos, there will be adjustments to the gameplay in the next patch ??

Some minor tweaks in the gameplay (eg pick and roll defense CPU need to improve) and also concerning crashs and performance on the PC version and this game will be recognized as best sports videogame all-time.

There's been further PC-only optimizations as well as changes and fixes to the video settings (such as certain settings not working or turning them off not turning them off) in the past week that should be included in the upcoming patch. It will also include any and all fixes (gameplay or otherwise) from the cross-platform Patch 2.

Hey Leftos will the tuning of the player salary's be included in the patch? MyGM and MyLeague are not really playable beyond 1 or 2 seasons when Harrison Barnes, Tristan Thompson, Bradley Beal, etc. level players are asking for deals worth 8million a year. Building a super team is extremely easy and every team has a ridiculous amount of cap space.

You can afford 10 players with a rating of an 80 by year 2 with the current tuning.

I hope the tuning fix comes soon and is in the patch as oppose to a roster update since I don't want to have to start over with all of the customization and roster editing that I've done.

I just purchased this game off Steam today before reading about any of the stuttering issues and I definitely would not have bought it if I'd known it was basically unplayable. I've got a GTX 970 and it has played every game I've ever thrown at it without a hitch(even GTA V which I thought might be problematic), but no matter what changes I make to the graphics settings every time I try to play a game in 2K16 it's choppy as hell. I feel like I just took $60 and threw it in the toilet.

Thank you for the response. I'll be patiently and optimistically waiting the results.

There's been more work being done to tune player salaries and even more to come in the next patch. The changes for cross-platform Patch 2 have been listed, and contract tuning isn't one of them, but we've seen far better results in our testing internally with our latest code and tunes and are hoping to have those changes in the next patch.

Does this mean changes to contract logic are looking more likely to come via a patch (cross-platform patch 3, I'm guessing around Thanksgiving) than a server-side fix?

Re: Patch out for PS4, (PC release????)

joosegoose, yeah, some parts were too complex to be moved server-side for this year, but we hope to have more control next year without the need for a patch. Still, some of it will always be sheer logic, which requires code updates, which are always going to only happen through patches.

Got it, this will be good to know for the guys waiting to start franchises because of it. Thanks for the insight!

Don't mean to double post, but have another question re: contracts. Has logic regarding players signing for minimum contracts (i.e. currently nobody signs for minimum) been tuned at all, or just the issue of top players not signing for enough money?

It would be great if You can check player movement. No speed, no acceleration, physics are slow as hell running on 60FPS :| There's basically no smoothness and this is not even close to PS4 version or 2K15.

I've concluded that this game is unplayable on PC. I've got a GTX 970 that can run GTA V without a hitch, but the gameplay in 2K16 looks like stop motion animation. I should have bought it on PS4 instead of PC, but I wanted the ability to mod the game. I really hope a patch can address this, but I'm not getting my hopes up. :(

I also have a GTX 970 and aside from the 1st and 3rd quarter highlights the game runs at a rock steady 60FPS. I am also running the most up to date drivers and have a i74770k if that matters. Is your FPS low or is it microstuttering. Because those are two different things.

Back on the 22nd Leftie said as soon as he has news he'ok pass it on. It appears they are adding PC specific stuff to the patch in addition to the cross platform fixes. So, I guess patience is a must although it would be awesome if it drops right when the real season begins.

I find it to be complete BS that it isn't out yet to be honest. 2K charges the same retail price for the PC version yet we only get a very minimal service.

Actually, if you count the hotfixes, PC has actually gotten more support than the consoles.
