All I just want is to have a current-gen for PC like in ps3/xbox360
+ FIBA 2014 World Cup (replace euroteams)
+ no more long unnecessary scene (or we can skip it) in mycareer and more attributes to choice from.. no more 6 attributes only..

Why should the PC version take a step back to being a 360/PS3 port (which would actually be prior-gen, not current-gen).

Bring back being able to see the MyCareer Playoff Brackets. It makes zero sense that they took this out last year. ZEROOOO sense. They added so much superfluous crap like Chad Ford scouting reports but took out basic functionality like the ability to see what's going on in the NBA playoffs every year?

NBA 2K14 is still pretty much updated via mods. I'm still enjoying it specially now that the 2K15 doesn't have the new rooks and of course the god of mods, The UBR. As long as we're limited in modding 2K15, 2K14 still lives. There's no way 2K is going back to prior-gen for PC.

I'm a graphic freak.

The font numbers of Nets and Bulls are wrong. Also the font of letters of some unis are wrong too.

At retro jerseys this problem peaks up. This should be fixed.

Another problem is that 2K just failed to make player names horizontal at Raptors and Pistons unis. This occurs since NBA 2K1. This must be fixed!

CPU teams/players play more aggressively. Superstars on those teams, and on my team, play like superstars.

Like in past versions, I didn't even get a month of play from 2K16. It was tiring playing against teams like the Cavs with Lebron scoring 10 points. It was boring playing against teams with superstars who I could mostly ignore, because they hardly did anything.

First of all a big :applaud: to 2k for the amazing new game. I had struggled with systems requirements a bit over last few months.. with changing between i3 with higher processor speed to i5 with lower speeds but better graphic card. Finally got an i7 with DirectX 11.2 compatible graphic card, a non gaming laptop and was able to play without issues or glitches with my new laptop. I know this sounds ridiculous, but would like 2k to keep in mind that people who purchase the game is not only hard core gamers but professionals, students etc.. who may not be able to afford a complete gaming laptop but would love to play the game anywhere and reasonably well on latest multipurpose business laptops. I usually play when I am stressed or need a break and hence I need it on the go be it in college or work.

About the game "simply superb" However there are a few things I would like to see in the game :

1. First of all the most important thing for me is MC and it is the only thing that's worth or rather should say that keeps the interest to the max amongst offline modes. Earlier it was different with rosters like UBR and could be played around with. But even then I preferred MC and feel its the best mode. But I must say this and have been wanting to for the last two years ... I simply hate playing from the 2nd year period. Because of one main reason the – the generic CFs" with weird looking tattoos, un matching accessories, weird hair styles and beards. 2k13 was the best time I had with MC. With Red editor and the leftos tool I was able to give CFs of retro teams or use draft classes cfs created here in the forum and was able to customize the rookies each year in my career. It was amazing.. almost plaid 10 seasons customizing players in each years draft class for attributes, tendencies and using retro player faces, fictional, draft classes cfs released here. It was I think only tool edit MC file. I really want 2k to do something about this. Frankly it very annoying, frustrating to play with a bunch of cartoon characters. You don't feel like playing a long career.. In 2k14 you at least get a whole year, but 2k15 you get half a year. I usually start a new MC each time. If 2K could find some way of using older NBA players faces and randomly putting light beards or goatee with a few types genuine hair styles (something like cropped, more realistic short hair styles like seen in the non generic faces ). For accessories they could use those of existing NBA players with preferably matching team colours and few of them with head bands. This might be too much to ask but I guess seeing the developments lately especially with face scans and adding stubbles, beards hair styles to a face.. it shouldn't be a big ask and can be made possible. While selecting appropriate accessories is just about giving certain conditions in the program.

If its about space I think there are ways to optimize it. If its about giving user flexibility I think it doesn't serve the purpose. If it's some kind of business strategy of having these generic CFs for draft classes and waiting for the new game for new players.. I would say people interested in the game will buy it in any case. Those who do buy it buy it because they love the newness of 2K and the innovative new features that evolves year after year.

2. The next most important of course is the body types this year. Need average and ripped to show some weight dam it ( But on almost full settings I felt the difference in muscle structure )

3. The 3rd would be an NBA draft selection like earlier. May be two stories one if I play well in some sort of a 3 to 4 game series with the likely draft pics ( like in 2k11) and get drafted or If I fail, move to a d league / summer league do a few games to earn a try-out with any team and continue the same way as 2k15. Options to get into any team must be enabled but team interest can vary. Ideally college hoops or some thing to build a player between 68 to 78 overall before draft.

4. The other thing I dint like about MC this year was inability to give suggestions for trading players. I would like to customize my team more in MC after gaining respect from the team say after winning a title, in addition it would be great to have a say in the draft pics. However my point 1 has to stand.

5. The innumerable amount of time outs. Though its very realistic, u get bored after a while. May be the use of hot keys to avoid it or option to deselect timeouts. Hate the long time it takes waiting on the side lines especially to end of quarter. It also takes a toll on performance running these unwanted game processes during this time. Also the point of "emphasis" which was is valuable advice to youngsters there could be option to skip it with hot keys.

(Y)

These would be my most immediate requirement in 2k16. But in addition, some more in the wish list are:

6. Would like to see more player voices at least 3 more to choose from.

7. Have a better face scan with ability to scan 2D images front and side views of a certain size along with the 3d vertices say from a existing player to get a better match. More importantly bring it for PC users please....

8. Really would love to see more realistic hairstyles and beards. Liked few beards this time but not a convincing French beard yet. The stubble looks great but would like to see the same effect on short hair.

9. A better Celebration of Championship focusing more on players and crowd emotions, celebrations types also showing the losing team, towels over their heads etc. The white house visit and meeting with the president should not have been removed.

10 . My biggest wish from 2k is to make National Teams. With ability to edit/ select team names flags and choice of selecting Jersey. Players in NBA or Euro would be a part of the national pool and can be selected for competitions like FIBA world cup Just like it is in FIFA. If licencing is the issue make wrongly spelt names which can be edited by the users like other games do. Incorporating some international friendlies, Olympics or Fiba world cups in the My Career ( like in FIFA ) would be the icing on the cake.. This along with some sort of scanning application ( point 7 ) that puts yourself or anyone else in the game would make the ultimate NBA2k and would buy it any day.

Originally I was an NBA Live fan since '05 but until my parents got me NBA 2K8 I converted to the 2K series. Its just that 2K had great better features and had better gameplay. But until now, I found consistent problems with their games that they need to fix (since 2K10):

  • The auto-generated rookies. Just like the guy above me, I found them really weird and laughable as it was obvious that they were randomly generated with hairstyles and tattoos, yet they all looked the same. I though they focused on "realism"? This problem is consistent with MyCareer and Association mode.
  • The Association mode/Simulation. Although I'm glad they FINALLY implemented the feature where you can jump in the middle of the game and other small features, there are still some problems I always encounter in every playthrough. The AI is dumb, the team-building, trades, rotations, EVERYTHING. I am a simulation gamer and simulation here is terrible. Teams here have no identity, its either they're a good team trying to win or a bad team trying to win. I don't see teams trying to build to their strengths or filling their voids, I often see 3 starter-quality players OF THE SAME POSITION in some teams (Although Phoenix did this, this happens very rarely) and its just a facepalm moment right there. Team strategies are also questionable, every AI team plays their starter 30+ minutes per game, the sixth man plays 20+ minutes per game, role players play 10+ per game, and the bench plays less than 10. This lasts for the whole freaking season despite player protests. No variety in strategy whatsoever, its just the person with the higher rating gets the minutes.
  • Create a Player. Yes, 2K15 has improved dramatically from the absolute trash that is the CAP mode from previous games, but I'd like to see more variety (ex. more hairstyles, etc.)
  • Body types. In every game despite in real life, Durant has the same muscle and fat mass as (almost) everyone else. Players need to be distinguishable from each other. From the soft muscly Dwight Howard, the skinny Durant, to the fat normal body type of Felton (sorry Ray, forgot you were a Maverick XD).
  • Trade logic and trades in general. Continuing from the simulation issues, trade logic has been a consistent issue. I've seen head-scratching trades in Association mode, where they treat players as numbers only. They don't seem to do trades to improve the team, but they only do it either its because a player morale shrinking to the size of Ant-Man or for no reason at all. For instance, the 76ers offered me J.Grant, H.Thompson, and a 2nd Round Pick for W.Matthews...ARE YOU KIDDING ME? We are a winning, playoff-bound team near the end of the season, and you expect me to tank all of a sudden? 3-team trades or even 4-team trades should be implemented. I don't think doing this should be hard at all.
  • Coaches. I wish they could also be modified (attributes, etc.). They need more "personality" and an identity. I only see them as guys who walk around in the bench area and call time-outs. They have no apparent role outside of that. Some coaches like to spread their minutes and see which player performs well, some only let players have court time that either plays to the coach's playstyle or the players' performance. We need those, the "toxic" coaches, the coach who actually improves the team, the coach that makes the team worse, etc.
  • Technical Fouls/Emotion/Tension in games. This may be a feature no one else wants or may be considered a waste of time to implement, I'd definitely like to see some real emotion and real tension in games (especially in the playoffs). Scuffles, rough play, shouting, and obvious frustration or joy in games is whats gonna make this game more realistic in court. Often times, I only see players playing casually as if its just an exhibition game, even in the Finals with only the crowd showing difference.
  • Minor contract things. Things like sign-and-trades, even buyouts, should be implemented.
