Modding and stealing are the same how?

does it matter? they don't allow modding either so what's your point? you are in violation of their tos and eula and you should be banned from the game.do you think the modding community should be an exception even tho its against their tos and eula? you break it you should be banned end of story

The thing is he ain't lying about the EULA and Terms of Service.

But 2K will never ban players for modding the game files especially when it only changes the look of the game and gives no one any advantage. (If ANYTHING it might encourage people to buy the PC version so they can download and play with all these cool mods, which in turn earns 2K more money.)

and the other thing is that the modding is only on the user's side. you can change any and all textures, made square toxic-green ball, change players' textures and models to ponies, parquet switch to grass and stadium seats revert to trees if you like games between ponies in wood but other users will still play in NBA stadiums. modding doesn't conflict with the loved by the cheaters phrase "on my side I can do with the game whatever I want" because modding doesn't change anything on the other side and not harming other users.

the same was for some CE and trainer's stuff like change your player's created face to the real one and so one. but this year cheating is so abusing that VC\2K decided to make cheater's live a bit harder
