For those who can't watch:

Players will have to choose one of 3 scoring styles for MyCareer (inside vs outside) which will affect skill caps.

Height and position combination will affect attribute caps and scaling.

Positions have different height caps:

• PG 5'7" - 6'7"
  
• SG 5'10" - 6'8"
  
• SF 6'3" - 6'10"
  
• PF 6'5" - 7'
  
• C 6'8" - 7'3"

For example 6'7" PG will have "much" (no specifics yet) lower speed, acceleration, dribbling, 3pt shooting, ... but will be also better rebounder, post player (both offense and defence), shot blocker, ... 6'1" PG.

This should also affect ProAm as you'll need variety of skills to be competitive.

These Height Caps should not exist for the regular CAP. At least we will have Yao Ming and Shawn Bradley. But Muresan and Eaton will still be limited to MyTeam I think and we can't create Rik Smits, Ralph Sampson and Manute Bol

They explicitly stated it for MyPlayer, so they did not confirm nor deny that these limitations will apply to CAP. They definitely did it to balance online play.

I know, but last year the Height Cap for MyPlayer influenced the regular CAP. Both were limited to 7'3

It wasn't that it influenced it. It was just what the max was intended to be, probably because animations get weird when you get up there in height. I'm sure regular CAP will be unrestricted.

Considering the problems with online cheesers, and the rarity of players over 7'3", I think it's a fair limit. It is good to see that the restriction doesn't apply to CAP, though.

I don't play with my player online so I really hope everyone else is also balanced to those max (I highly doubt it) or that the game lets you increase that max with some means (training days?) or simply, that they just let you play uncapped in offline games.

Example, If you create an athletic/balanced 6 ft 8 SF with 220-230lbs weight it would suck if your speed is capped at (random number) 75 and your strenght at 85...only to find out Lebron/Durant/Kahwi/George all have 85+ speed and 90+ strenght or if you create a 6 ft 6 SG with 190-200lbs weight and have your speed capped at 80 but Klay/Jimmy Butler/Wade/Stephenson all have speeds above 90+

"Regular CAP has fewer restrictions" is not the same as "Regular CAP doesn't limit centers to 7'3"".

I'm going to check it once the game is installed in about an hour.
