There are a couple of people in the community with that knowledge - you can see the great work that gregkwaste has done for NBA 2K15 PC - but again, we really won't know what we're working with until the game comes out.

It's a strong possibility that it'll be a similar situation to last year, but we really won't know for sure until we can take a look at the game ourselves.

Well no. It would be better if the files weren't archived at all anymore, but that's not gonna happen based on the HDD requirements for 2K16.
