Why doesn't 2K sell a Roster Editor?

I don't understand why they don't do this. They could make BANK selling a fully customizable roster editor as DLC or something for 10-15 bucks.

Maybe they're not allowed to without approval from the NBA. If that's not the case 2k is missing an opportunity.

I want more than anything to edit the names and attributes of these fake coaches that are in the coaching pool to start MyGM. I hate Lucas Lucas, Logan Schmidt the super coach, and the rest of those generated 'A+ rated' God coaches who've never coached in the pros before. Every MyGM the Sixers fire Brett Brown and hire Logan Schmidt and start winning the division by season 2. I hate it lol

And allow roster and draft class editing via an external editor would be way faster, without any cons vs consoles, a part from not profiting of these features.
Anyway, this tool should be included, like Football Manager does (and this is reason why FM is the leader).

It'd be great to have, but I'd say it isn't a priority. There is also a very good chance that the NBA isn't keen on it.

Look at what Konami does with PES 2016.

They have a full roster editor for their game with the ability to change Leagues / Teams / Jerseys etc.
