I'm never preordering through Gamestop again. Won't be able to post screens till Saturday.

Have they updated the rookies yet?

I honestly have no idea who this year's rookies are and what they look like so if you name any player (rookie or otherwise) you want to see I'm happy to add their pic

Cheers.
Let's try the knicks rookie Kristaps Porzingis

I got him for 9K and thought that was a steal. There is no other player in the game, including current superstars with the speed of rookie AI. He literally blows by his defender at will, it's great fun to control.

Just checked, he is still a random, not added sorry.
Their Frank Kaminsky (one of the few rookies I know what he looks like) looks decent enough.

So much for there day one update....
Cheers anyway.

The Minnesota rookie looks fairly similar (no scan though) to him. But 76ers, Lakers, Knicks from what I could tell are all generics at the moment.
I doubt rookies would care, but I wonder if there are some NBA players that avoid or simply don't want to get scanned so don't show up/take part.
Bogut, Kawhii, Mills, possibly even Melo and James, although resembling their real life faces do not look to have been scanned.

There is a chance your right about that but in this day and age you can still get a good likeness without a scan but in live 15 there were so many players (that looked exactly the same) using a bad attempt at Create a player!
Shouldn't be happening now when the devs pay so much attention to detail.

Nice. Looks like you're putting together quite a good Ultimate Team, too.

2 wins away from never playing UT again (just want the win 50 challenges trophy lol).
I actually got regular Lebron in a pack today and sold him for a ridiculous amount then bought young Lebron and the new AI. I noticed LOTS more legends today in the new packs. Bulls Rodman, Mashburn, Glen Rice, Melo, Pierce, young Kobe, young Duncan etc. Nice to see the models change too.

There may be animations that leave something to be desired, but those certainly aren't "PS2" faces.

Industry leading player models imo

(As well as stadium lighting, player lighting, skin textures, tattoo textures, sweat effects, head and eye tracking...)
If I won the lottery I'd buy myself into helping fund and improve this game because there's so much groundwork already laid.

I believe we can still have a positive impact, as it is. I sent along my impressions and some additional patch suggestions, along with feedback for NBA Live 17, and the guys were very receptive. I'm all for coming up with some great ideas here in the community, and passing them along. They're keeping tabs on that stuff.

Awesome. Dennis Rodman is pretty on-point too, from checking out his face up close at the community event.
