All about You must be a new type of create a player mode. Hopefully we can edit our own personalities and expressions throughout the game. I also wonder if they put in some kind of story mode

That skin texture is a bit much. Attempting to put that extra detail in almost makes it look like a condition.
Nothing about AI/gameplay improvements.
Interested to see what the new experience is

I'm hearing Live is having a big announcement about game modes/features at E3. We'll see most of the features then I guess.
That "Discover how to rise together" makes me think it will have to do with multiplayer.

It does suggest an expansion of the online features...perhaps a new version of the Online Team Play and adidas LIVE Run concepts?

Rise Together is likely a connected careers type of mode. That's my guess

Online rising star? Sounds interesting.

Hmm so you take your rising star's team to go up against another person's rising star team?

Jersey looks a lot better in terms of fitting.

There are only 3 things that I want to here right now from EA
Improved Dynasty mode.
Sliders.
Customization.

1 out of 3 so far, and the other two are supposedly in the cards. Here's hoping those plans haven't fallen through.

PC? Or will they say that PCs are to weak to run it again?
Wed Jun 10, 2015 9:02 pm
They never said PCs would be too weak to run it.
Probably console only for at least another year.
Wed Jun 10, 2015 9:34 pm
Well, it was that "majority" of PCs aren't powerful enough... 2 years ago, as response why PC version of FIFA doesn't use Ignite engine.
They earned a big backslash and next year FIFA on PC was in Ignite engine.

We asked Sean about the situation in our first chat with him on the Podcast. Once the brand is re-established and the game back on its feet, they'll be looking at other platforms...PC being one of them.

As much I want to see nba live return to the pc I totally get that get a solid game out on the consoles which is the bigger market theses days makes more sense than spreading themselves thin now trying to put a version out on all formats.

OK... I understand that this is a decision for managers (and managers, not the actual devs, usually give stupid excuses).
But given 2K eleases 2K15 on par with X1/PS4 and decided to continue with 2K16, the market must be good enough - it's not just actual game sales, but also microtransactions, both easily tracked since the game was Steam only.
It's a good time to enter the market and compete. Go old school, release a demo version. Lots of people will play the demo just because someone finally released a demo. Add some cool bonuses, lots of PC players enjoys collector's editions. Big poster, small MVP trophy or some gear like wristband or headband with game's logo. Make it look good, you can get PC that crushes X1/PS4 for $500.
Right now 2K holds the monopoly in modern basketball games on PC.
Here's hoping someone from EA will read this and think it might be a good idea.

At least it's not like you have completely different architectures. Lots of stuff can be done in a common way (roster updates etc). Maybe they're short on devs.

In terms of sales, brand reputation and whatnot, 2K is ahead right now and that gives them a foothold, so the game comes out on more platforms. Don't get me wrong, I really want to see NBA Live return to the PC as well, but it's understandable that developing for the consoles and getting re-established is the primary focus. In the meantime, we should keep speaking out and demonstrating our interest in the PC platform.

Incidentally, PS4 and X1 only, as per
the official press release.
