Way to decouple "high resolution mesh detail" and "cloth simulation"?

I'm playing the game on a thoroughly middling laptop (i5-4210u, gt 840m) and I keep the settings on medium for the most part. I would gladly sacrifice something like lowered crowd detail for more detailed players, but my ulv processor isn't exactly conducive to the "cloth simulation" aspect of player detail set to high.

Is there any way I could have the highest player detail/resolution without the flowing jerseys?
