Sim points vs playing game points

I'm currently playing 6minute quarters on MyCareer but the team i'm on is subsequently averaging 60-80points a game but the sim'd games are averaging 100-115 with similar box scores to the higher players in my team vs their's (just more of them). Is there a setting, other than my own quarter length, that I can change to equalise this effect a little?

The option might not be there in MyCAREER, then.

Yes it is. It's in the settings when you start your mycareer. I don't think we can change it once the career starts, though.

I don't think it is? I looked for it when I started my new MyCareer a few days ago but I didn't see it.

Seems a bit silly that you can set it at the start of the MyCareer but not edit it
