Similar to the Wishlist thread & Bug report thread, except the other way around -- report what aspects you like about 2k15 and that you would hope stay in the game for future releases. Whether it be an aspect about the gameplay, a particular mode, the interface, a little tidbit, anything. I'll compile the best ones from this thread and paste/edit them into this here initial post as we go. We will never have a feature that we like removed again.
Think about it from the developer's angle, if you spend a significant amount of time working on something over a matter of months or years, it's easy to lose all perspective on it. For me personally, when i make music, by the time i'm finished a song i have no idea whether it's good or bad, it becomes just a series of frequencies to me. So with that in mind, help the 2k developers know what they've done right. Because they do read these forums. And it's the only way they can know for sure what "clicks" with the community.
I'll start...
- I really like the mini-description/title/summary thing that players get when you hover their name via the roster screen. I.e. the things that say things like "Offensive superstar" or "lockdown defender" or "two-way forward" or "skilled shooter" or "faceup four" or "slashing guard" etc. It's a cool way to quickly ascertain the "flavour" of the players on a team. There seems to be heaps of variation too, because they are always really specific and on the money. You can tell 2k put some love and care into this little tidbit. And i love that it is based on the player's attributes, which means it is dynamic and can change from season-to-season as you cruise through MyGM mode or if you change ratings yourself through the roster editor.
- The individual player attributes are really good this year. Way less guess-work than in past years. They're now more knowledgeable of the players they're rating.

Probably due to the fact that I watch Heat play, I subconsciously try to mimic how they play their "Pace and Space" and this year I'm getting big support from my teammates because of this addition. I bet Spurs fans and people using triangle offense are feeling same way.

Dommy73 wrote:Oh yeah, and those fouls (and their animations). No longer slight bump reslting in player jumping on one foot and "shooting" the ball relusting in commentators going like "and he was fouled hard". Even usual fouls now fell like complete denial, throwing player on the ground etc. Fells way more physical and realistic. Makes you play more careful, because you start to worry about health of your players.

Phreak50 wrote:Oh and skin tones are second to none, discolorations, blemishes, not just 'pink' textures for lighter skinned players. Generally impressive.

Phreak50 wrote:- While there is a lot of debate (which will continue) with PC compatibility, the devs still deserve credit for 1. releasing the current version on PC and 2. adding some PC only settings (AA, effects, quality levels etc) that are often missing in console to PC ports.
