Need a way to turn individual "Special Effects" on or off

The "special effects" graphical option adds quite a bit of slick effects to the game, unfortunately it is a bit of a GPU hog.

Does anyone know exactly what this option adds?
Nearest I can tell it adds
- Light reflections on the court
- Player reflections on the court
- Weird grey hazy smoke effect in the air
- Flashbulbs in the crowd

Would be great if we could turn on and off these effects individually... for example, i'd like the light reflections but not necessary the grey haze, or the player reflections.

I know it's early, but has anyone found an ini file or anything where we can tweak visual game settings?

The problem is the Crowd + Effects it's a ridiculous resource hog try putting it on medium and low (crowd) you'll see the difference but also if you leave it on high with special effects off it's 60 fps.

nothing in the videoSettings file. It's just one setting called "EFFECTLOD"
