Quick OS Question

This is probably a VERY noobish question considering I'm a very active PC user, but I noticed in the system requirements "Windows 7 - 64bit" is the ONLY OS mentioned. Does that mean Windows 8/8.1 users will NOT be able to play it?
My guess: Yes, WIndows 7 and 8/8.1 Users will be able to as long as it is 64 - Bit. No need to mention 8 when 7 is already listed right?

Yeah, 7 64 bit is the minimum, so anything above that, so Win 8 and 8.1, but it MUST be 64 bit.
