Setting affinity to above normal helped me

Works for me. Can now have high player details and stable 60 no stuttering camera cuts

I tried this but no luck, the stutter is still there.

Just registered to say thank you, strobox88. I tried this method and it is working for me too. The audio stuttering are still present, but it doesn't affect the gameplay, frame rate, constant 60fps.

I really need help, here are my specs

Windows 7 Home
Processor AMD A10-5800k APU with Radeon HD Grapics (quadcore) 3.8 GHZ
Installed Memory (RAM): 8.00 GC (7,45 GB Usable)
System Type: 64-bit operating system
Graphics card: AMD 6670 HD

Even on the lowest settings I get microstuttering so bad that I cannot even play. I can run NBA 2k14 all on the highest settings, 60 FPS, no stuttering, with graphics enhancements turned on (SMAA, better global, Ambient occlusion Ultra, Anti-Aliasing 16x, Texture quality at its highest)

Ive tried running as administrator, ive tried the supersampling set to 0 in videosettings, ive tried radeonpro (all different vsynce settings including having it off) I have tried only using AMD Catalyst control and trying all the different setings in there.... I am at a loss.

BTW I LOVE NBA 2k14, and continue to play that. but I would really like to see what I could get out of my rig for 2k15, another people having success with a similar rig?

thanks!

That 6670 isn't going to get it done, imo.

Do you think adding another card for $200-$250 would do the trick?

I have the same CPU. Probably would help, but replacing that APU with a stronger processor (maybe a 760k since you're already on an FM2 mobo) + maybe a $150 card might do the trick.

I would lower all settings, including resolution, to maximize the framerate and see if it still stutters. For all you know, upgrading your videocard could improve performance but you could still have the stutter.

I've tried almost everything, and the one that finally worked was either (because I did them at same time) run as admin on .exe (doubt this did it) and/or set affinity/priority to above normal in task manager for NBA 2k15 (more likely). This solved my micro stutter issue that has been KILLING ME. Finally I can play the game.

I think stuttering is DirectX 11 problem because FIFA 15 (DirectX 11) have stuttering problem too. Solution can come from NVIDIA or Microsoft.

god bless you. this worked after a quick 45 second test in-game. now i can max out 2k! There no real noticable micro-stuttering now, if at all.

This actually works for me, just kinda annoying having to do it everytime I start up the game, but nice workaround for now, thanks.

Best tip so far!!! Worked like a charm. Stuttering gone!!! It proves the game is not yet optimized to explore PC's cpu... Way to go 2k!!!

Setting priority to Above Normal improved gameplay dramatically before I couldn't time my jumpers for the life of me and movement was so sluggish/delayed in responding. I haven't tried the affinity thing yet will experiment with it and report back!

I think Stuttering on Nvidia is very agressive if compare with AMD....because i have stuttering, but some in moments, game run smooth 60% of the time. If i change to Broadcast Stadium, have 90% smooth, but i love it zoom in with Broadcast Generic.

Nvidia owners, the stuttering is constant? It´s unplayable?

I think I may have figured out true solution. You guys remember the fix for some of Skyrim's micro-stuttering? Well, here's a reminder.

Go into your speaker properties, click the advanced tab and then choose 24 bit, 44100 Hz. It fixed the sound and stuttering issues for me for the most part. There is still the issue where everything just freezes for a second and then all the animation resumes.
