what is exactly this option in my league mode..

''normalize played minuted to sim minutes''

???

As I understand it, that option will adjust the minutes played/minutes per game if you're playing shorter quarters, but have the sim quarter length set to 12 minutes (or whatever).

So, for example, if you're playing eight minute quarters because you feel that's a good length to get through games efficiently, and you're getting otherwise realistic numbers, that option would allow you to automatically adjust your players' minutes played to their totals if you were playing full 12 minute quarters, and calculate minutes per game accordingly.

I feel as though the players move like a wall of bricks and I don't know what they did with the jumpers but they also feel like you're shooting with an anchor on your leg it feels so off compared to 2K14 on pc

The game is pretty nice. Animations are smoother and gameplay is more realistic. MyCareer is pretty annoying though. I think I will just play MyGM with player lock on in the controller settings.

The game looks amazing in 4k resolution on my monitor. It also feel different than last year addition. So far im having fun with the game and have yet to experience any lags on my 2 gtx titan video cards.

The only downside of this game is the passing, it still feel like crap to me. I had so many turnover to the point where i nearly threw my xbox controller. it was pissing me of and it needs a patch asap.

Don't expect to go into this game thinking it 2k14 all over again. You're going to need some serious strategy to score some buckets and to play defense. AI is on point this year.

my observations

Great graphics - as expected
Create a player - great textures but I feel that overall editing/sculpting not on par with NBA 2k14
Association - I have yet to get in depth but here are problems I seein using myleague,

1. there are no "save as"options and once you start a myleague,
2. your CAP player editing is limited (face cannot be edited, not even hairstyle)
3. No 3-way trading

Overall interface (especially roster editing which is what Im doing for now) is not as straightforward as past NBA2k games

For now, apart from graphics, I would still prefer NBA 2k14 due to CAP options and straighforward interface. I've yet to go more in depth though so judgement may change with more experience with the game

graphics aside, I prefer NBA2k14 and If this game wasnt expensive, it would have been a 2k9>2k10 situation for me where I didnt play 2k10 after buying it..
only saving grace for now is the Graphics, its to pretty haha

I think a minor roster update went live or something. Some players were moved from the free agent pool to teams and few players have been added to the game entirely:

Shane Edwards-Cle.
Mike Muscala-Atl.
Shawne Williams-Mia.
Dahntay Jones-Utah
Eric Moreland-Sac.
Jorge Gutierrez-Brk.
Cory Jefferson-Brk.
Damjan Rudez-Ind.
Patric Young-N.O.
Spencer Dinwiddie-Det.
Lucas Nogueira-Tor.
Greg Stiemsma-Tor.
Kostas Papanikolaou-Hou.
Grant Jerrett-OKC
Sebastian Telfair-OKC
Lance Thomas-OKC
Jason Kapono-G. St.

Still a few notable players missing, like the older Antetokounmpo, the younger Dragic, etc...

CAP players cannot be edited (face/head) once you already started my league. some attributes can still be amended but head values (i,e hair) are no longer available for edit

From the sound of it, looks like I'll be leaving NBA2K14 on my hard drive a while longer just in case.......

Not going into specifics.

Positives
*Gameplay is better. (Smarter AI, rebounding, little improvements that add up)
*Features are more refined.
*Certain player models are improved. Durant looks almost life like with his model and how he is on the court.
*Presentation is better.
*MyPlayer story/create a player is better.
*Little additions like shot meter is great.
*Overall a better game in almost every way than 2k14.
*Rebounding improved
*2K Tv is a cool little feature
*Ton of game modes
*MyPark takes the next step. Haven't played it yet, but wish you could pick what court to play on any time. Maybe you can?

Negatives are the usual.
*Bad courts
*Still some team colors off.
*Certain player models are bad
*Skinny arms don't fit certain players
*Some dunk animations still feel slow
*Defense has almost been nerfed. This will really separate the guys that know how to stay on players.
*MyCareer attribute upgrades are dumbed down. Do not like this at all.
*Wish players were a little bit more responsive

(Haven't tried any game modes other than quick game and mycareer. Giving benefit of the doubt to Leftos on those.)

Overall it's a very solid and deep game. Definitely take 2k15 over 2k14, no question. I'd give a 8.5-9/10.

Have the ps4 version and here is my honest first impression..

I like the gameplay and the animations and the presentation, i dont like the ernie & shaq pregame though, for me its boring..i like myleague so far(only mode besides quick game that i tried so far).. ill probably spend most of my time on that mode. I dont like the graphics this year though. Its good but for me nba 2k14 was way better. At first i thought they downgraded the textures but upon studying i think it looks like that coz they added some shine in the players skin but still have the same texture as last years game. I dont like that. Nba 2k14 is way more realistic looking than this years game because of that and because of that ill buy the pc version to find a fix for that. One more thing 2k server sucks. Thats all for now.

5 minutes of Play (PC):

Menus look nice, but probably same quality as PC version last year. Significant upgrade over console version.

Player responsiveness and controls are fantastic. This is definitely not the horribly non-responsive controls of 2K14 on console.

The jump shot release point indicator is great.

Defense is much easier to control (if you have good position that is).

To me, the graphics feel like a step back from 2K14 on consoles in terms of overall "wow" factor, but they are still very tidy.

Can't connect to 2K servers at the moment. Every time I try to connect, it gets me to re-create MyPlayer

I'm having an awesome time in MyLeague as the Heat. The menus are so interactive and there's endless possibilities. Managing what each player does during practices, making sure they are well rested and maintained, is just what I was looking for.

The games I've played, I've lost 1 and won 2. Guys will take advantage of you if you don't guard them correctly! It's awesome to have to adjust to the way you guard DeMar Derozan on the pick and roll. It's satisfying when that "spark plug" is coming off the bench and scoring points.

Overall, defense is very satisfying, especially when you force a 24 sec. violation. Surprisingly, the sim sliders offer good gameplay right out of the gate. Really loving it so far.

SOmething strange with the audio in a bad way...
like it "pumps" up and down, like there is a compressor acting on it

My impression is that everything is much slower to get going and play compared to the last gen 2k14 on PC

Anyone on the PC know how to equip accessories for your MyPlayer?? I don't see an option for it in the game mode on the "Nav screen" or in the edit option on the main game menu.

I wasn't able to play it so much. I installed it on Tuesday and found out that my gpu sucks, I was able to upgrade it today and now the performance is great. I'm getting used to the new controls, but I like that there's much more spacing that in previous years,

Would be nice to have that flexibility still (hairstyles, facial hair etc). past NBA 2K games had it, so I dont understand why removed it this year

My Prior 2k Experience: I played NBA 2k9-2k13, but opted not to buy 2k14 as I am a PC gamer.

--Now for my impressions so far--

Pros
+ Huge upgrade overall from 2k13.
+ Offense is much more realistic than any 2k I've played yet. You definitely aren't going to just jack up 3's or run into the lane and score. There is some strategy to scoring. Though, post moves are still nasty effective (which is good).
+ Menu system is awesome. The games' gui in general is just beautiful.
+ Game is quite immersive with it's pregame (while you are loading up the game) talks, halftime coach talks, and other details.
+ Seems optimized pretty well. I'm running it on a 2 year old gaming laptop and it runs just fine.
+ It takes a little time to make your player better, but for the most part you really feel the affects of your purchases on your stats and such.
+ Gameplay commentary is above average.
+ AI plays the game pretty well. Games tend to be tight, and with 9-10 minute quarters the scoring is realistic. Games tend to play out as expected with closer results than provided in the past.
+ Dunks, crossovers, and even layups are really rewarding. Sometime's I'm left jaw dropped by what an AI player did or such. Putbacks can be emphatic as well.
+ I'm yet to see an un-blockable animation.
+ New shot meter rocks, and shooting in general just feels right.
+ Legendary really is a hell of a challenge. Even with a 99 3 point rating you aren't going to be able to pop a 3 whenever you feel like it, and the AI's help defense will make you work for a shot.
+ Graphics are solid.
+ I can dig the variety of things to do between MyTeam, MyGM, MyPlayer, and MyLeague. I find it hilarious that they allow you to earn VC in myGM games that you import a custom roster into. As you earn VC from the games.
+ I love the overall lower player ratings this year. Was desperately needed and allows for clear differentiation between the tiers of players.
+ Rebounding makes sense now. No more bullshit in that department.

Cons
- User Defense is INCREDIBLY hard to play. Basically, to be effective you have to pretend you are in zone and rely on (or spam) the double team button to make up for your utter inability to stick to the AI players. This takes quite a while to get down and can be really frustrating at first.
- The voice acting done by the players is LOLworthy at best.
- Not a huge fan of the sound track.
- Defense has to be listed twice, as it really is a huge minus right now. Note: your teammates will play D, but you will suck at it, especially against PG's who drive frequently (ie: Derrick Rose who is frigen impossible to stop)
- 3 point shooting may be a tad too difficult? Seems like the AI has a MUCH easier time making 3's than you do. That stated, it leads to realistic FG ratings all around.

I think 2k14 played more fluently then 2k15, I don't know how to put it in words properly, 2k14 was more responsive, when i hit the rebound button in 2k14 my player jumped instantly but in 2k15 it takes a sec yes the graphics and offense is better, but i agree on the defense part, u just can't play D, always get passed by
I dunno maybe i should try with lower graphics, am now playing with everything on high quality on PC... Overall I was more wowed when 2k14 was released then I am now with 2K15

So far it seems to be an improvement over 2K14. I can't believe there's no quarter by quarter team scoring view.

You can't. The game needs 40-45 minutes to finish unpacking and installing and the geniuses at 2K decided not to show a progress bar.
