Remember that many customers already made their preorder(like me), and i get information about online quality when i launch my game. The worst thing is 2k never boast about online quality because it looks like they dont know about our problems or they dont want to know about this. I dont believe in first and second one is disrespectful. Would be nice if Leftos post simple short answer about this to stop any speculations, they never post answer in past years, even on their 2k forum.

Yep, that would be nice. I asked Leftos whether Nba 2k pc version will have improved servers this year or does next gen on PC automatically means that we (pc gamers) will be in the same network of servers that are used for Xbone/PS4, but I received no response, since probably he is no position to answer such questions. Upgraded servers was mentioned in the same news reports where next gen on PC was confirmed, but I never saw a confirmation by 2K Sports on this matter.
Actually judging from the topic "NBA 2K15 PC specifications released!" and the specs people post it seems that the majority of nba 2k pc gamers are running the game on stone age pc’s, which makes me think that the quality of 2k servers is not the main and/or the only issue here, considering that someone at the other end might be trying to play nba 2k online with 56 kbit/s dial up modem.

VC has outright said that they've made strides to improve the online experience.

edit: sry bout double

I`m not good at programming at all, but my good friend is admin in some big company and he said to me this (as I wrote before, I am not good in technical terms): "Before, X360 use XCPU Xenon processors technology, so servers must use its programming code/routine for online game. PS3 use cell processors, so servers must use the same programming routine. Of course, consoles brings money, so they maintained that mostly. Nobody really care for PC servers. Now, both X1/PS4 use AMD CPU & GPU and programmimg routine is x86 technology, exactly the same like in PCs. So, if console online gaming works smoothly, it`s damn easy to do the same for PC servers. The only question is WILL they do it, but considering fully priced PC version I believe that online gaming will be far more better than it used to be.

I believe this is a valid point (PC price being +/- the same as Xbone/PS4 version of the game) for PC users to expect the same quality as x1/ps4 versions will have. Up until this point when the pc version was priced reasonably lower than the price of consoles version, it seemed understandable to me why we were getting product with less options and so on, and I had no problem with it. I've been basketball fan since the beginning of 90tees and have bought consoles (starting with dreamcast and so on) mainly because of NBA 2K series, so when 2k sports announced that they are bringing nba 2k to PC I bought 3 extra copies of the game and passed them around for friends and one random NLSC user.
At the end of the day you always have the option not to pre-order the game beforehand and wait for the first reviews from users, if you are that concerned as to how online mode will actually look. Stumbling over the same rock knowing that in previous years nothing changed in respect of game versions being different is the result of your own choice.

Hello everyone. I'm a big fan of the NBA 2K series, but I have to open my soul and tell the truth. in the past few years, PC gamers are very missed by many good options in the game. We pay 50 euros and game options are totally limited. Why is this so? Here, this is the latest example. It is a shame as it looks online mode on 2k14. Here, I currently do not see the MP statistics on nba2k.com :( I am very disappointed that every year a big question whether the NBA does come out for the PC ?! and then when the game comes out, there is no innovation. Everything is poor. Xbox and PlayStation players have a number of options, especially in online gaming. So, PC gamers are neglected but our money is welcome. I wrote a letter to 2k, there is no answer

Gentlemen, I have 30 years and I'm not a child. in my soul I'm a gamer, but I am not a sheep for shearing. The truth is, nobody forces you to buy and play this game but why discriminate ?? it is not free will, choice, it is imposing.

Now I may be expelled from the group because I wrote the truth. But this is not just my problem, thousands of PC players complain about the same thing. Show us a little respect because we are users. Thank you all for reading.
