@djherokiller

Well eBay is Auction and Buy It Now based. By that you either bid for an item that has a starting price (low) and bid against others. They also have Buy It Now sales where it's just like buying online. I can't really show you where to find them as I don't know where you live. I can't provide you with a sale based in the US if you live outside of the US and the seller doesn't ship there. From what I see currently there is almost no 7750 video cards close to the $50. I see one that is close but requires payment as Paypal via direct bank transfer, and one a little bit more expensive. For example...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/PowerColor-Rade ... 46255da523

This item as I am posting this is at an auction price of $1.25 with 2 bids. The shipping is $9.50. If I bid $2 eBay would tell me if one of the bidders have a higher bid price then me. You then increase your bid to the highest you're willing to pay (total).

As of now it doesn't seem like the best time to buy. Most people are trying to sell 7750 for almost $100. I would pay ~$120 for a GTX 750. If you look for GT 640s on eBay you can find several for ~$50 and even cheaper. But you're sacrificing performance going with a GT 640. I would honestly wait for the best item and price. It sucks that you can't upgrade your power supply. I bought my 7850 for $65 because of a gift card I had on eBay. Even now you can find some auctions of 7850 with the prices at around $50-60 ending in the next 3 hours.

@jmmontoro

You seem to have a Radeon HD 5750. Unless 2K creates a miracle and optimizes the game really well, you won't be able to max 2K15 with that GPU. I would feel safe to say that you could play at minimum though, maybe a little higher. Think some more as we wait for the System Requirements.

columbusbobby23 wrote:I don't think you will be able to find one that doesn't need the 6-pin connector for additional power.

Actually most if not all 7750 should not require a 6-pin connector. That was what made that video card special.

agolden wrote:I max out 2K13/2K14 and almost all of my other games - I ordered these parts and had a friend assemble them for me back in February 2013. I'm a little worried next-gen 2K15 will be CPU-heavy though. Would like feedback!

I added links to the parts so you can see the specifics for the parts.

CPU: i3-3220 @ 3.3 ghz http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80637i33220
GPU: XFX Radeon HD 7850 2GB Core Edition Video Card http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-video-card-fx785acnl4
RAM: Mushkin Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory http://pcpartpicker.com/part/mushkin-memory-996995

edit: GPU is running at stock speeds, not overclocked

also I run at 1080p on a 23 inch screen

Your GPU is roughly on par with the GPU in a PS4. I think you will be able to run medium-high settings in 2K15 but it's just a guess. Your RAM is fine as I have yet to see a game use 8GB of RAM. You don't need a SSD for gaming. It only helps with loads time so it will not improve FPS if you had an SSD. 7200RPM will be fine for gaming. Although an i3 is a Dual-Core, they do seem to perform better in most games (even newer games) compared to 4-8 Core AMD CPUs. Unless the game needs a lot of core/threads an i3 will probably be okay. At least with an LGA 1155 Socket motherboard you could always upgrade to an i5 or i7 down the line. At the least if things don't run so well you can use a lower resolution instead of the native 1080p on your monitor.

well alot of people think i should upgrade my computer but i think my cpu is fine for low settings and my ram is ok because i have 2 additional gb of ram that i can add later on but i think all i need is a graphics card cause i think 2k15 all it really needs is 4-6 GB of ram a good dual core cpu and a really high intensive GPU for lowest settings to run at 30-40 fps.now there are alot of people that upgrade there computer and throw away there old GPU now if there is anyone who has a GPU that they are willing to give away for me that would be helpful and give me a better 2k experiance i just need a GPU that atleast can run 2k at lowest settings with 30-40 fps cause i dont care about graphics as much also u need to make sure that the minimum psu requirement of the GPU is 300 watts cause my PSU is 366 watts and i need a card with minimum of 300 watts so please help me out

that card requires a minimum of 400 watts if u can help me find a card that requires 300 watt minimum that would be helpful

Re: 2K15 PC Specifications Speculations

Thu Aug 14, 2014 1:55 pm

Yeah xKrNMBoYx, it is a 5750 but it's the DDR5 version which is way better than some DDR3 cards in newer series, so I have doubts, I don't care about maxing out, but definitely am in playing at a mid to good settings range. Over here GPU's are very expensive, can get a second hand or rewrapped 650 ti at 200 dollars.

Which card are you talking about? GT 640-GTX 750 Ti should only need a 300-350W Power Supply (Says NVIDIA). As for the 7750 the official requirement is a 400W power supply but there are people who have and still run a 7750 on a average/good 300W power supply. If your power supply is of a good brand 366W will be fine. Also online play will be a little bit slower than playing locally. If you're internet is not fast enough it will lag. Latency may be a problem. That has nothing to do with a GPU though.

I see. Yes you're right. A GDDR5 variant of a GPU will outperform the DDR3 version. The VRAM is important but the Stream Processor/Shader Core are probably more important in some cases. What region do you live in? I hate it when things end up being more expensive. On US eBay you can find some 650 Ti anywhere near $60-90 at low prices.

The GPU's I mentioned will be the best for you and your power supply. It's now your job to find one on sale that is at your budget. It will be hard but they do come up. As for the internet lag, it's really hard to get rid. Have a decent good internet subscription or it has to do with 2K's servers which we can't do anything

If you look at most recent game benchmarks your CPU will do just fine as long as you have a good video card. 4GB of RAM should be okay, 8GB is/should be the norm now. Your GPU is an issue. A Radeon 5500 is an entry level card. You will probably struggle to play on low. The weakest video cards I had (in the beginning of my gaming) I used Radeon 3450 and then Radeon 4350. I was able to play games on minimum but in no way a high resolution or even smoothly.

German amazon http://www.amazon.de/2K-Games-NBA-2K15/dp/B00KBXRYUK set Windows OS - only 7/8, that in principle it is logical for the NG game. So that those who have XP – go to 7/8 :)

DX11 isn't supported/suppose to work on XP right? Vista wasn't either but got support in an SP update supposedly. Amazon is doing Microsoft good by only posting Windows 7/8 as a requirement.

We'll see. But it's my confidence that XP will not (least because of its support officially stopped by Microsoft), and dx version here at anything. Actually I've already forgotten which of the latest AAA games has XP support.

Re: 2K15 PC Specifications Speculations

Well, there are some workarounds (read "terrible hacks") to use dx10/11 on xp but i can also effectively damage your os beyond repair.

However as support for WinXP ended I would recommend everyone with sufficient rig to upgrade asap to win7. Security isn't microsoft's strong suite, but ignoring it might be even worse.

I have :
i5-3210M CPU 2.5 GHz
4GB RAM
GeForce GT 630M 2GB 128-bit DDR3
playing 2k14 on 1366 x 768 resolution
750GB HDD
windows 7 64-bit
I just applied new thermal grease for my heatsink

Is it possible to play this?

WE DONT HAVE A OFICIAL SPECS at this moment.

Hey bros, I'm new here, I ain't a computer genius or what.. just askin this..
Can my Pentium Dual core e5200 2.5ghz with 3gb ram(I'm gonna upgrade this as soon as I have enough money)
Still planning to buy this three here:

HDRadeon 5570 1gb
GT 630 2gb
Geforce 210 1gb

any suggestions,opinions or violent reactions?
for those who are filipinos can you give me a price range?

BTW, do not forget that NBA2k14 NG occupies 50 GB of HDD space, so Nba 2k15 will be not less. So prepare your disk space

violent reactions? :D are we that infamous?

ok anyways

lets see well your CPU will have a hard time.. remember we dont know for sure what it will take to run the Game but a DualCore from 2008 is propably not going to cut it. maybe the game will start.. but if its really playable.. i would not want to put my hand in the fire for that
right 3GB Ram is really screaming for an update if youre at it update to 8GB Ram is usually not that expensive

and regarding the Graphics Cards you posted: honestly i would not buy any of this you can get newer and stronger Cards for the same money

also the Geforce GTX 210 doesnt support Directx 11 so thats useless

i cant speak for the philippines but if you are willing to buy used, you can get a Radeon 7790 or a Geforce GTX 550ti for around 70$

but i would advise you and anyone, if you can.. save some more and invest in at least a Radeon R7 260 or 265 or a Geforce GTX 750ti they are only around $100-120 and are way more modern, have quite good perfomance and most importantly have ongoing Driver support compared to the really old cards!!!

just delete some of the porn and you're good to go :D
On the serious side though, just use good ol' hdd and not an ssd. ssd will have minimal impact - just little faster loading times (unlike in games like heavily modded skyrim)
