Talk about NBA 2K15 here.

Amazon.de raised the Price now to 49,99€ (was 29,99€ before) but GamescomSpecial-PreOrder still says 19.99€ - so they just took the price of last years version for the Sale.
But we get it 3 days later as always, so I will try the Game out offline until the EU-Release T.T

50GB is what the game will be after installation. The download will be smaller, how much smaller would be speculating, but I would guess around 30-35GB.

I doubt it, Amazon.de has a Cover with DVD and if it was only a Key they would mark it as "Download Code". But such large Games are terrible for me too because Internet in Germany is not better either. I would need like at least 2 days for 50GB.

Yeah, I'm the same way. My Internet kinda sucks and if the only way to get the game is to download 50 fucking gigabytes, then we have a problem. Really hoping physical copies are still a thing.

I saw on amazon that if you click on the PC Download button, no pre-order bonus pack pops up, while if you click on any other platform the pre-order bonus pops out. Does that mean that the PC Download on steam will not include the pre-order bonus?
But on steam, NBA 2k15 includes the pre-order bonus.
Thanks! I appreciate your help.

Then maybe you need better internet?! In most regions in germany you can get pretty good internet... Yeah I know, there are still some places left where the fastest thing you can get is DSL 6000. I have DSL 50k, so this 50gb wouldn't take that long to download (when I'm right around 2,5 hours). A friend of mine even has DSL 100k.
Does anyone know why you can get a Jeremy Lin myTeam card as preorder Bonus in Europe?! It's called international myTeam card, you can draw one of several internation players like Nowitzki, Parker, Ginobili, Exum and a few more. Also Rookie Durant und Jeremy Lin...Don't understand that cause both are americans...

6Mbit is max here, you need to be in a big City to get good Speeds. I could get 16000 in my city if I lived on the other side of the city.

With my internet in Serbia,I could download it through Steam in 11 hours.

@Hadley88
The download will be less than 50GB. With a 6Mbps connection I would guess around 9-11 hours.

Maybe in Greece, Germany has a Physical Version at least on Amazon. Do you have Amazon in Greece?

Getting a box doesn't neccessarily mean there will be optical disc in the box...

U.S. Amazon does not have the DVD-Rom logo.
http://www.amazon.com/NBA-2K15-PC/dp/B00K08RUR8But the UK Amazon does.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Take-2-NBA-2K15 ... B00KHLEEFOSo I wonder what that means.

Well, it's just a cover... US version doesn't have "Now including 25 Euroleague teams" on it, but I'm pretty sure they're in the game

Of course they could release some versions with bigger part of the data on a disc. Maybe it's based on some Steam survey - as what percentage of players download their games from steam [completely] rather than preloading it from DVD.
My retailer seems to be pretty sure about the game having "just" activation code instead of DVD(s). And I live in Czech Republic.
But it might even be some legislation stuff - just ask german players about their censorship in video games.

There is a PC Download and a Normal PC Version, if they would just sell a Key why even sell different versions?
Thu Aug 28, 2014 9:56 am
Because there are people who still buy disc versions, or just want to use cash.

www.plaisio.gr/games/preorder/pc-propar ... -02477.htm.
This shop is the closest to Amazon here and although the picture has the dvd logo the site clearly states code in a box and download code only and no dvd.

Think about this : 2k15 will take around 50 gigabytes on HD, so installation must be at least 40 gigabytes. That amont of data needs 9 regular DVDs, minimum of 5 DL-DVDs, or 2 blu-layer discs or DL blu-layer disc. Well, how many PC users have blu-layer players/writers in their PCs?? So I really think that DOWNLOAD version will be the only one. That DVD-ROM logo is pointless for this game.
And I preordered game on Steam. Well, if I payed 30€ for 2K14, I believe that 2K15 worth the price. And my monthly sallary is little over 300€...
Sun Aug 31, 2014 8:49 pm
Bullshit! A DVD can have like 9 GB
Sun Aug 31, 2014 9:39 pm
And let's not forget compression.

Or you'll get 2-4 DL-DVDs with some of the data and you'll download the rest. Some did this before (Valve games, Diablo 3, ...).
BTW where do you live (if you don't mind me asking)? Your salary is basically minimum wage over here.

Yeah, the game is a 50GB install, not a 50GB download.

Yes, dual layer DVD can store 8,5 GB, to be exact...

Could be, but I do not have D3 or any of the games that use partial download...
