the problem is its a next gen engine.. you just can optimize it so well.. it will just need certian hardware no matter what 2k does in terms of optimisation

I adore the story mode MyCareer, it adds a whole new level of immersion to it for me. Whilst I might like a branching story, the story is still a huge plus for me, especially as it helps break up the monotony of playing game after game after game. The rivalry alone does it for me, nothing like having a rival, hope they expand that aspect bigtime for 2k15.

More immersion is great, I do agree though with other posters there were problems with players having outstanding games and then getting chastised by the coach because the story wanted the player to have a bad game.

I can only guess, but remember what mods bring to us. Best example - modded courts on old engine looks way better than next gen from 2k14. Just remember that we cant make any mod for a long long time. With old engine we can fix almolst all.

Sometimes it's the other way... For example Borderlands 2 had same price all the time, but if you preordered soon enough you got additional stuff like tshirt etc, but that was preorder deal of the shop rather than distributor's.
