NBA 2K15 Patch (10/21) Available For PC

Good Day Everyone! I just finished downloading the patch (hoping this would allow me to play the game) however I am still suffering from the same problem as I had pre-patch. The game auto exits after the splash screen (KD), I have tried all methods like updating my graphic drivers, direct x, and vcredist. I am also sure this is not hardware related since I am able to play much more graphic intensive games such as Shadow of Mordor.

Yea Leftos, what does "new content" mean in main menu? Is it reffer to new rosters or nba today is updated?

I am starting to get fed up with this game!!! I downloaded the patch yesterday and I was quite happy to see that almost all the stuttering that affected my game disapeared, but when i started a new game session this morning, everything went back as before (lot's of stuttering during throw-in, fastbreaks and when the players are crossing the court, especially at midcourt... i also noticed some lags during the pre-game show with shaq) How the hell is that possible?? Did you check the patch with all the teams, courts and game modes? I have nothing against you leftos and I really appreciate your concerns but this is really starting to annoy me. My rig is way over the recommanded one and i'm still unable to play the game in good conditions. You guys in 2k seem to be worry about game piracy for pc versions but don't you think that the best way to fight against piracy is to sell games properly developped!! I definitely shouldn't have spent so much money for this game.

Guys you really should try to play the game with different teams, courts and game modes several times in a row before saying that the patch solved your problems because for me the stuttering went back when i changed the teams and it got worse after having played for a while

So we are just doomed to play this unfinished product that we paid 60€? In case You are wondering how much is 60€ (but I belive You know since I can guess that You originate from Greece), I will tell You that is around 76$ which is and You will agree not small amount for a game that is full of bugs. So I just must assume that you guys at VC will maybe fix these bugs but then again there is strong possibility that it will not happend, like all times before. Or maybe You will just understand that instead of fixing code for this 2k15 it would be much more cost effective to just copy/paste and put some new shadows, find new cover figure and make 2k16. Lets hope that I am wrong.

And what is wrong with fouls??? Sliders on max and on 12 min quarter I get 10 max ftA?

Oh and this is important. How is it possible that in every single nba 2k release, there is an issue with settings saving? This year it just reset replays and audio presentation. How? Do You even test game before release and if You do, I must tell You that your testers are doing poor job. Fire them and get new ones

In video settings in game I set Special effects ON, confirm, play a quick game and close. Without touching the videosettings.cfg when I start again the game in video settings Special effects are OFF, so everytime I have to change them manually. In videosettings.cfg effectlod=0 (so is ON) but this setting, making the file read-only too, is skipped by the game.

Those of you who experience a lot of stuttering, 2 things:
- Reduce texture detail to medium and AA to x4 unless your gpu has >= 3 GB Vram.
- Close any browser windows before entering the game. When I have Chrome open I experience wierd stuttering
- Close any afterburner like overlays. When they update their graphs every 1 sec, it causes a minor stutter

And most important,
Stop whining and blaming others. Your low end laptop, or medium end PC cannot handle Max details and there's nothing 2k can do about it. That's why you have a settings.txt to tweak and experiment.

There's a new "Online Data" update (as we used to call it ) which has been automatically downloaded. If you're at the Main Menu you don't have to do anything. As far as I know there haven't been any content updates major enough to warrant an announcement once you reach the main menu, but we're still doing minor stuff such as the roster updates.

That's a DirectX 10.0 (SM4.0) card. To get the special effects (EFFECTLOD = 0) you need a DirectX 10.1 (SM4.1) card or better.

Of course 2k has to do about it... i was reading few minutes before a message from a guy with a gtx titan who has to face micro stuttering issue... when you are experiencing a 60 fps framerate and still have micro stuttering, you can't say that the problem is coming from the pc and not the game ... I can't believe an xbox one or a play station 4 can run this game pretty smoothly with all the details on, while a powerful pc can not? And i am talking about a high end pc not a medium end pc... it's all about optimization and it seems that 2k forgot (or didn't want?) to optimize this game.

Leftos, my game is still crashing when I open My Team. I've set D3D_INTERNAL_THREADING_OPTIMIZATIONS = 0 in VideoSettings.cfg like you told me.

You can't blame us who bought the game to feel pissed, specially when our SPECS is even better than that recommended system reqs, anyway im cool

Haven't had a single online game while playing nba 2k15 Rosters download just fine and I see that nba today unlocked today (again). I have a rock solid fiber connection of 250Mbit/s.

Also, when i play my career, i am having trouble with my endorsement and 2k shoes when i tried to see the endorsement it just crashed to desktop without reason, same goes with 2k shoes.

I think this game is a great work of 2k sports, best sports videogame gameplay, good graphics, good optimization for pc, quick support (and constant with Leftos), I am very satisfied with the product.
