Can this discussion just be about NBA2K15 and not about who as the biggest...pc? If you want just argue about that go to the general talk or if you want to talk about requirements for NBA2K15 just create your thread... It's just becoming annoying now.. Can't we just dance together and celebrate? :chug:

I've got an i7 3770k, GTX690, 32Gb of RAM, a Seagate Momentus XT 750gb Hybrid and 3 240GB SSD's. Can I run the game at decent settings? :)

So seeing that modding will start out fresh for next-gen, anybody know how Vlad/Leftos reverse engineered previous versions of 2K for editing? I figure if we all chip in on researching we can hit the ground running on mods a lot sooner.

If Leftos allowed to share any info about the PC version now that the cat is out of the bag? Like whether the old tools can still be used? Are we really back at square one with this version?

It's quite likely that we are.

I'm also guessing that Leftos can't give us specific advice on whether we can (or how to) mod this year's game. Remember though, we're a creative and ingenious community (if I do say so myself), we'll figure something out in time.

absolutly

in the worst case we have to start from scratch.. it will take some time but we will get there

and since its pretty likley that this engine and format is set for the lifecyle of the consoles so at least the next 5-7 years once we figured it out we will be golden for the next years

you have to imagine... Creating cyberfaces of real life face scans... this is crazy.. the game looks amazing right off the bat

and then think what some of our creative geniouses will be able to add to this :D

Oh I know. This place is incredible. I had no desire to get a PS4 or XBone last year. Cam's mods, as well as all of the faces, stadiums, dornas and all made me more than content with the current version. Fifa is really my favorite game, and Moddingway puts out a mean mod. That said, the sheer volume of different types of mods, as well as the amazing quality of them, makes this my favorite place to visit. You guys rock. Seriously. :) This game in the hands of the talented guys here is really going to be something really special. And sooner than later, I'm thinking! :)

So psyched about this.

Also, to whichever person stated that a 7970 cannot get above 46 FPs in Crysis 3 on low settings, you sir are wrong. At 1080p the 7970 clocks in at 48 FPS for very high settings, for low settings, you're looking at 114-134 FPS.

Even if we can't mod as soon as the game is out,we still have MyTeam,MyGM,MyLeague,Park,Crew(maybe),so that can keep us busy for a while.

Seriously awesome news. Thank you Leftos for any part at all you had in this decision being made!

Honestly just as excited for the complete package as I am for the updates graphics. It'll be fun tinkering around with the new modes and wutnawt.

Is that 46FPS or 114-134FPS with a Core 2 Quad as a CPU? I was just stating the numbers I saw on Tomshardware's CPU Benchmark with a 7970...Forget about my comment as nothing is completely correct. I see some people who has OCed a C2Q with a OCed GTX 580 and got 45-80FPS. Maybe the high FPS is the Max numbers while the 46 is the min to average numbers

I wish I knew coding to help out with the modding stuff.

In the MyLEAGUE interview local roster saves were at the very least implied.
Opinions are my own.

You just led the thread out of topic again.

Nah. People will ignore my post if they arent geeks.

Anyways, I am really excited on this game, I think its almost perfect (graphical aspect) even without mods.

oh boy im sad to say but no, ,probably not

if we suppose 2k15 has about the same requierements as FIFA 15 then you need at least a geforce GTX 460, wich would still be very cheap

and you would need to upgrade your Ram vor sure 3GB is not nearly enough at least to 4gb more would be better

I found Radeon 5570 1gb and gt 630 2gb.. Is that better?? And I will upgrade my ram for sure

Amazing. I am actually stunned and I cannot even imagine the stuff that will be made by amazing and talented modders that we have here. Thanks 2K Sports for saving me at least 400 EUR (new PS4 + nba 2kXX). The fans on my ASUS R9 290X DC II OC will finally start spinning while playing NBA 2K :D

I hope this move by 2k (NG on PC) will boost PC sales drastically (same goes for EA and FIFA 15 PC), so that in future there wouldn’t be a single thought to release a castrated version of the game to PC. I saw this as an inevitable move since there no reason to hold back anymore, considering the cpu/gpu architecture of ps4/xbone, which now makes ports much easier to make.
