Talk about NBA 2K15 here.

I think the last pic showcases the difference between face and arms. Face looks realistic, arm looks like it was made of plasteline

centrifugal, i dont understand, skin texture in 2k14/15 next gen looks waaaay better than 2k13/14 old gen, imo ofc.
Mon Sep 08, 2014 5:53 pm
last year they also release screens that were shot in the 1st qtr.

2k should give us screens like this, so we can really see the difference.
(SICK!)

as for what I have observed...

2k15's graphics is not downgraded as other people here believe. Comparing the screens that were shot in the same qtr.
its only the hype that got us bc we were new to that graphical upgrade.

Texture might look better than 2k14 PC vanilla, but it doesn't look better than PC 2k14 with custom globals, albeit I'm certain it looks much better in motion due to the fluid animation system of the NG version. Maybe it's made like that on purpose so that it animates better, but in a static image the arms look mediocre (for the day and age we live in).

AND still no armpit hair

centrifugal, im not a big fan of any modder globals, all of them look non realistic for me, this is why we will never agree, so i think there is no sense to continue our discuss, because its all about "in my opinion".

Looking at Iggy it seems that they paid attention this time to accurate accessories color. I hope they won't be the same on the road as at home for all teams.

With so many changes and new cool stuff (and the fact that they didn't wanted to "half-ass" features as Leftos said) I can totally understand why they didn't do it, but I feel like 2K16 really could use some clothing physics system. Traditional jerseys would get much more lively and would stop floating around, but those t-shirt jerseys would profit the most (even though I think it was a bad move by the league to have them, but whatever) and finally it could be applied to the net!

I don't need more Screenshots. 2K15 will look awesome, not matter what. On 2880x1620 with a ENB even 2K14 looks very nice for me.

Anyone else notice that the ball looks higher resolution than next gen 2K14?

Well, the ball was slightly changed irl, so they had to rescan/retexture it anyway. So maybe they decided to go for higher resolution.

It's still not on par with our 4K balls or the NBA Live ball at all, but it does look a bit better. Hopefully we can make it much better shortly.

2K hasn't said much about what, if anything they have been doing in regards to updating player faces. They obviously didn't scan every player in the league. It would be nice to know what their gameplan on this is. Looking at the screens, Luol Deng doesn't look scanned, looks more like an old gen upgrade. Lillard also looks pretty bad, especially after seeing his face in Live.
I can only go off history and assume that 2K is content with their faces and textures. An update to a few players here and there, but I don't see them going out of their way to get upwards of 90%-ish of the players scanned, or even updating their technology.
Same with courts, I see them doing what they did last gen. Unless there's a new court design, they'll keep the same courts that were in 2k14. Which leaves me scratching my head when they talk about details, yet use low res textures, or use noticeably different parquet and colors.
Why can't 2K hire an art version of Leftos?

They claim to have scanned 75% of the league.
