My League problem, classic players retire after 1st season if in FA pool.

Postby kingjames23 on Tue Apr 14, 2015 7:13 pm

I edited 1 of each of the players from the classic teams to age 20 and moved them to the FA pool so that I could sign them to teams in My League at my leisure. It turns out that any players in the FA pool from those teams simply retire or go straight to the HOF after the 1st year. What can I do besides signing every one of them to every team and be stuck with players I want to use in the future but just not yet, sitting on every teams bench and crowding out the current players?
I ran an experiment with 2 classic players on each team and as long as they had contracts they stayed, so its not overriding the age change. Can anybody help? Maybe a change in the sliders?

First of all, this should be in Help section.
Second, maybe you can try changing 'years as pro' number

Actually, it's just fine here. Please leave the moderating to the NLSC Team.

No harm done.

In the interest of providing a further explanation, there is a bit of crossover between the main section and help section when it comes to asking about general game issues. That's because a lot of people were misusing the help section to ask about stuff other than modding, so we decided it was easier to make it a general help section and allow those posts in either section.
