My League question

can you put the "new" Legends players I see in blacktop mode(from the 2k12 dlc showcase, such as Cousy, McAdoo, whoever)... onto your association rosters and play with them in the My League sandbox mode? Can you edit player ages while in that mode? Thank you for any help. I am purchasing an xbox one when I get my taxes, and this info makes or breaks whether I finally get this game or if I just want to wait til next year's and keep playing 2k13.
