Hi guys, I'm not sure this is the right section since this problem of mine could relate to any NBA 2K game and also applies to the Live series (as far as I could imagine since I don't own a console)
Sometimes, during a game, I'd like to try a play I have in mind , for example I think about moving the SF there in the corner and the PG to cut to the basket etc.... but since no NBA 2K or Live game allow for a "Create a play" (a la Madden) I have to browse through hundreds of pre-made plays, find a similar one, then add it to my playbook , then start a play, and pause lock to one player whose movement is not exactly what I wanted and take control and modify on the floor the play the way I want it to be..... did anyone of you have this same frustration and desperately miss a proper "Create a play" feature? And, missing that, how do you cope trying to make a play similar to the one you have in mind? You also lock to one player after having searched the entire database for a play that is similar at what you have in mind? Or is there somewhere to be found a playbooks database where one can search (outside the game) for a play he likes and then tries to implement it in the game.
In my opionion this playbooks topic hasn't been discussed enough in the Basketball Gaming Community and should be analysed better since it's a key aspect of any Basketball game, coaches keep modifying their plays and surely won't settle for the thin playbooks set you can find in these games.
