Problem with PS4 nba 2k15 update

Ok, I recently bought my second PS4 and I was wondering since my internet is slow here in my new place if I can somehow download the 2k15 update (940mb) but while it's downloading, remove it so I can play Destiny, etc? Will it still download or not?

Yea I have this problem too, and just got my 3rd PS4, I'm running out of outlets... Should I buy another power strip or move into another house?
