Much like collecting trading cards in real life, you earn (or purchase) packs, which contain random players, jerseys, courts, contracts and whatnot. You use those to build your own fantasy team, which you can play with online and offline.

ok i understand, i choose Durant from 9 players, but it looks im not fantasy type of guy, this mod is not for me. It is a lot like FIFA Ultimate Team if you ever played the FIFA games

formx, yes now i understand for sure fictional fans will find here heaven a looooooot of options and possibilities. Time to try MyGM, its more in my taste.

You can trade in cards for MyTEAM Points, which you can then use to buy new packs.

I find MyTEAM (and Ultimate Team in Live) to be a fun alternative when I feel like a break from the other modes. It also reminds me of collecting basketball trading cards as a kid, though you're actually putting them to more practical use here. It can take a while to put together a decent team and collect the jerseys/courts that you want though, so yeah, it's not for everyone.
