Changing user name in MyPlayer

I know I saw this thread before but can't find it after a 10 min search.

Can I change the name that's listed underneath my player in MyPark mode? Everyone on the parks seems to have a chosen name but mine is just the front part of my email address.

I thought it used your Steam name?

Maybe it does. Damn. But all these other people have funktastic names, I'm the dork with the email address name.

It can only be changed BEFORE you start your MyCareer.

Ok, so I lied.

Exit out of your MyCareer/MyPark and go to Options Features.

Here select MyPlayer and select Vitals.

Change name here and it will update when you go back into MyCareer/MyPark.

I think you're right the first time. Changing the name in Vitals only changes the name of your player on his uniform, not the name that shows up underneath the player when you play online. I could be wrong but I'll try it tonight.

My steam name is what shows under my player on Park so try changing that.

Yep, you guys are right. I changed my Steam name and the name under my player changed. Perfect. Thanks guys.


Really liking the matchup system in MyPark where you walk onto the court you want to play on and watch. It's match making on a whole new level even though it's exactly the same as every other game's lobby forums. To be able to watch other people play and scout out their strengths and weaknesses while waiting your turn. It's almost like real streetball. Ahh, brings me back to when I was young and athletic again.
