I can not fully understand you. But if you think that making jersey moves is an easy task, it is not. That is physics. Lots of computations.

He's trying to say:
Why does the the player detail option cause lag that when it only makes the jerseys move? I set everything else to max settings but when I set the player detail to high, it lags but when I set it to medium, it's smooth.

I may be wrong but.... that's what I understood.

Anyways, the Player Detail option isn't only for the jerseys and the physics thing, it's also for the 3D hair of the players (Harden, Olynyk). Setting those to low or medium should give you jagged, weirdly shaped outlines. It also controls the player's textures, specially the skin. Overall, that option controls everything that you see on the player.

Oh. In that case, it will really impact largely on your setup's performance, athozoan

Must depend a lot on your GPU or maybe even drivers. I don't get much performance difference with player detail on high or medium.
Special Effects is another story though. That setting kills my framerate.

That'd explain it. You need a faster PC to play on the higher detail settings.

Minimum requirements. Not maximum requirements. 2K15 is more graphically intensive than Max Payne 3.

You can't blame 2K for your inferior hardware.

With all due respect, but you should thank 2K for making this game run on a setup like this, especially on medium settings.

Try setting priority to above normal or high then go to priority and make sure every core is checked in task manager. I would lag on high detail now it's smooth for me. x4 645 gtx 680

I also don't get why i can play 2k14 at max settings +modded and it looks fantastic, but i can't play 2k15 that well on medium settings and it looks way way worse than 2k14 even unmodded. Shouldn't i be able to play 2k15 at 2k14 like graphics?

2k15 for a new breath in MyCareer with those storyline and a shot at MyGM for a change, then back at old save at Association with 2k14. Perfect Solution :headbang:
