Gamestop employees are among the dullest of the dull. I don't know that I'd trust their word, based on the rest of the information that has been disbursed. I hope for your sake, though, that they're right.

I feel like actual copies of games are being phased out, it's hard to find real copies of certain games sometimes for me

If it was a couple weeks ago I would say not to trust what they say. But they would already have the actual game box, so it's probably true. Unless they were busy and just told you what you wanted to hear to get you off the phone/out the door.

No it looks like very thin game case. It might have a disk with an installation file or 2 but the game has to be downloaded. Trust me. I wish it was a physical copy I have a 4meg connection smh.

Amazon.de just send me a mail and confirmed its Code in a Box and they did not know about it when I ordered. I'm pretty sure if Amazon.de does not get a Physical Disc Version smaller shops won't have them. I would be very surprised if there are any Disc Version for PC.

Just picked up my PC reserve from GameStop and to my surprise it's just a slim game sleeve with a Steam code inside.
Steam says approximate download time 13 HOURS!!!!! No midnight release for me

That's ridiculous… I hate all this internet connection crap for games… You spend $60 for somthing--put it on some damn discs or a thumb-drive or something… I foolishly ordered the "physical" Windows copy from Amazon, and my internet--like apparently a lot of people's--is total shit… I wish they would have been more specific about what the hell you get with the "physical" copy, cause I sure as hell wouldn't have waisted my money on having to wait a full day more to get a piece of damn paper. This is depressing. My download time will probably take about 2 days.
RETIRED MODDER I used to MOD, but I quit because people & whatnot...

for $20.00 and call it even man why should I pay $60.00 when they are saving money on production on it wow

I feel you bro I still haven't bought the game but when I do 2 Days would be optimistic for me even if my PC stays on 24 hours a day.. SMH It will probably take me 4-5 days

It was posted like at least a week ago that there are no Retail-Versions (at least in the US).

That was my first thought "I wish I knew I would've preloaded".

When the game finally finishes downloading about this time next month, I'm going to burn it onto 6 DVDs, design a cover for it, package it, then ship it to myself in an old Amazon box so I won't be so sick to my stomach about spending $60 on a slice of cardboard. I know everyone bitches and moans about everything on this board, but I think this one is a legitimate gripe. There was nothing totally official on Amazon that explained the difference between the "PC Download" and the "Windows" version. Why in the flying fvck would I even think about buying a "physical copy" if it was just going to be a piece of glorified cardboard?

not happy however I got the game and I will be able to play so I guess I am not doing to bad, either way guys
have a great night and hope you all that have the game are enjoying it peace (Y) (Y)
