hello

the new patch is working for me, but some players are having problems with connection to server. changing firewall / router settings / validating cache does not seem to help :/ i f you know how to help them, check out this thread please

update:
Well it's been a while. After my second attempt to contact 2kSupport, i got the answer that servers may be down due to maintenance. (reasoning with last years holiday season overload). Well, it's getting close to two weeks straight "maintenance".

ARKAS on the Steam forums posted this, i tried it aaand, IT WORKS (for me)!
"i had the same problem for days now and i compressed the folder local which is at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\43090825\282350\local restart steam and i was back online....that worked for me the number 43090825 is diffrent for others.... "
"right click at local folder,properties,advanced users and there is a choice to comprese the file to save space..."
update: it worked that evening for one game. i now cant connect again. un- and redoing the steps above doesnt help this time. i guess no more 2k is the solution
