Can you edit the official 2K roster?

Sat Nov 01, 2014 4:41 am

I checked out the official roster and 2k did add some missing players and the lineups are used from the previous games which is good, however, some teams are missing players that should be in the rotation and are probably on reserve. Can you edit the roster to put them in the rotation? I didn't see where to do this.

Technically no, but you pretty much can--you need to create a new roster. I just did so this morning.

I believe you have to go to "create a new roster" and use the official roster as a base. Then you can edit to your heart's content and save locally. You'll still have the original official 2k roster in addition to your new edited version.
