Who restarted their MyCareer after latest roster?

Wed Oct 15, 2014 12:00 pm

Like the title says, who restarted their MyCareer after the latest roster release? Is it worth starting over, or should I just keep playing it. Or should we wait until the next official roster release before starting a new MyCareer? It's a real bummer that the bug fixes can't be implemented retroactively. Are the bugs game breaking? Thank you.

I guess it's all up to you whether or not you find these fixes important enough to warrant starting over.

- The draft pick assignment needed to be corrected and updated.
- Generated players had the same play-types and play initiator setting independent of position and player type.

Personally I wasn't planning on restarting my MyCareer, keeping in mind that there will be a lot more fixes and updates, until I found out that I can't use the save file from my laptop on my PC.

What do you mean you can't use the save file? Isn't it stored on the cloud servers?

The actual save files aren't stored on the cloud servers, are they? Or I may just think so since I haven't started any online modes because the servers and the connection to them are so unstable. I think it's just your progress, stats and things like that. That's what it seems like at least since my MyPlayer and VC were all ok. Not being able to use my (for example) MyCareer file from my laptop on my PC is a pretty big buzz kill if you ask me.

Unless the save files are stored on the cloud servers, you can't transfer files from one computer to the other. Well, you can transfer them, the game just won't read them. I'll be honest, if I had known this beforehand I never would have bought 2k15.

How the heck do you restart your MyCareer? I can't find the option anywhere in the game.

On my gamepad, when I press "Y" I see the files and I can start a new one. Move the "cursor" to MyCareer and it should tell you the button to see the files.
