Can t wait for a patch so I was thinking.. aaand there might be another tweak for boosting fps.
Has anyone tried this method?
I remember it helped me with gta IV.
Simply you need to place the file into game directory and run it, it defrags game files and should boost fps
here s how it works with gta

I think this might help people without SSD Hard drives. Doing that on an SSD would probably be redundant.
The problem with NG games that are ported on PCs is that GPUs that can run those games on ultra settings on 60 FPS cost 400 Euros plus at the moment. I've recently bought a new PC for 1000 euros, without a GPU - as I'm still using my Radeon HD 7850. I got myself an AMD 8350 (8 core), Gskill 16 GB RAM (1866), Crucial MX100 500 GB SSD, Noctua fans and CPU Cooler and a Fractal Design case.
It felt really odd to buy a GPU that would cost half the amount of everything else. So I decided to wait until AMD or Nvidia drop their prices... I'm hoping this takes place before xmas. Until then I am aware that I'm going to have problems with NG ports. I just got Watch Dogs and on High Settings I can only achieve 30 FPS.
Unfortunately the GPU market is not mature enough, and with 4K screens becoming more mainstream in the coming year or two I think it's a risk to get a GPU at the moment.
There will be small tricks here and there to squeeze a few FPS out of your system but it will come at a price in terms of quality.

Doing that on an SSD would short
en it's lifespan while gaining zero boost.

SSD = Solid-state drive.

Already trying out this method, but it defrags files slowly. Some of the files are from 2.6 - 10 gigs or more, with gta it did the job in less than a minute.
oh well, it has never been tested on this game so it might not work.
I will be keeping you guys updated.

Speed of defragmentation depends of fragmentation of said file. If it's scattered all over you drive than it's gonna take a while. You might have had luck with gta if the files of the game were physically next to each other with small fragmentation.

Can I play while defragging? Because it takes a lot of time.

I have no idea, just be patient, it took me about 15 min.
Then tell us how your game performs after this tweak,

lol no.
Seriously.
No.
You
can play during defragging same way anyone can drink insecticide if they want to but both are not a good idea.

Or to be more accurate, it's like not closing a highway while you're tearing the asphalt off and putting a new one on.

LOL. Ok. I just waited for it to finish.
I guess it didn't work for me. No changes in FPS.
