Ultra Wide Screen

I have a 29" LG Monitor with 21-9 Aspect Ratio!When i try the option Menu i got the 2560x1080 resolution but next to that it says anknown aspect ratio.And it gives me black bars to the sides.Is there a solution with hex Editor or anything else that i could overpass this problem.

Have you tried changing the aspect ratio correction setting?

Of course.It just shows the black bars!If i don't change it it just stretches the screen or it gives me black screen(while audio plays fine)!I tried change videosettings.cfg but nothing!

i thought so.Then i have to w8 if can someone fix it with Hex editor,or by a running a program like Flawless widescreen!Any advice until then is most appreciated!

Me and one person from here have absolutely the same problem.... still waiting for solution.......

(PC) Support for 21:9 resolutions has been added.

Still 2560x1080(aspect ratio unknown) , does this have fixed with the update?Or am i doing something wrong?Should i change anything in VideoSettings.cfg?

Yeah, I'm also confused by this.

This is not a micro stuttering problem,that may appear or not because of different pc hardware!This is a fact,there is or there is not!They said that they fixed it so they have tried in a 21-9 aspect ratio monitor and it worked...does this mean that we are doing sthng wrong?Should we change a parameter somewhere in the software?

Was this ever fixed? I would love to game at 21:9.

16:3 doesn't work as well.
Missed opportunity there.

The game will support any resolution but only to maintain it's fixed 16:9 ratio. You can fill your screen but at the expense of proportions.

LETTERBOX
Aspect ratio control. This game was designed for 16:9 aspect ratio.
LETTERBOX=0 - Assume 16:9 aspect ratio. No aspect ratio correction will be applied.
LETTERBOX=1 - Maintain 16:9 aspect ratio. The remainder of the display will be black.
