Box out battles

I can't figure out how to battle the boxout, anyone know how to do it?
Tried something I found on 2K14 - L2 + left stick, but I'm not getting any results from that.
And I couldn't find anything in controls.

Good old 2K11 in this regard.

I've been playing a lot on the PS4 and I just use L2 and back into the opposing rebounder.. I will say however that it is very difficult to get a good box out at times because they just slide around you often but I can get a box out about 60% of the time..

I meant that I can't slide/spin around the guy even when trying to do different thing.
In 2K11 I could do that with triggers if I remember correctly.

I can defend box out pretty good, but when the other guy is in front of me, I can't get around.

Offensive rebounding still hasn't been addressed, it's ridiculous.
