Welcome to the Forum!
Icon Passing should allow you to inbound the ball to a player other than the point guard. That's R1 on PlayStation 4, RB on Xbox One.

thanks for the answer. but can i switch to another player? (for example to the shooting guard to pick a nice spot for pass and shoot)
not the icon pass, i mean tk control another player as i can control the point guard

That's something I forgot to add in my wishlist: bringing back the ability to move a player into a better spot before icon passing to them

Yeah, unfortunately we don't have that functionality anymore. It'd definitely be nice to have that back in NBA Live 16.
