it's really not that bad of an idea. it'll make the next mod even better if it would be started sooner

I think it's a good idea. I'm looking for some people that are new to modding and love college hoops. I know that Bigh0rt and Behindshadows already have all their people, but new people are certainly welcome. There is still plenty of time to learn how to mod all this stuff.

This. I think this is a great idea, however do we know if the file structure of 15 will be the same, and will the mod tools work. I know 2k14 is ported from 360 and 2k15 may be ported from next gen

You can make the files in 2k14. They might have the same files like 2k13 and 2k14, but if not they can just be converted when the reditor comes out

something tells me you are not familar with files you cant convert files in red mc thats only for rosters....sure we can make the files now but we arent sure if they will work...but thats all we can do...we can make a roster for 14, but its not easy to convert to 15 then...just do not see the logic in this tbh

im talking about rating wise, that's the biggest aspect to me tbh. but i understand since we don't really know the format.

Thanks for all those that have agreed to help me! Working on a demo right now. I could still use another cyberface maker and possibly another jersey maker. If you could help with the cyberfaces that would be awesome! That's what makes it look like a true college hoops mod.

Is there any way we could use the files from other college mods to create a tournament mod?

Were only using the courts from MM mod cause that's what we got permission to use. Pm me and we can see what you can help with.

I need some more cyberface makers please! Wanna make this look authentic as possible and like a real college hoops game

you need help for:

- roster (playbooks, ratings, sig skills, names, skin tones, coaches, etc, etc, etc)
- cyberfaces

you have:

- 5 generic looking jerseys
- courts from March Madness 2K14 (however, you have every right to use them since you have permission, AFAIK)
- an almost blank facebook page

.... I don't see how making a seperate mod from March Madness 2K14 is gonna do anything other than, frankly, not make one single mod the best possible mod it can be.

Also - 4 separate guys have been sending me PMs multiple times to help, via the NLSC and Steam, full-knowing I've only ever made a single juxebox for any NCAA stuff. For the 6th or so time, I have no interest. Please stop PMing me, guys.

And maybe re-evaluate your gameplan - you guys are all cool people in my book, but this is a leeeeeetle stupid.

That being said, I do understand if you want to do it for the satisfaction and rewarding experience of making a mod, but make it so you are making mods yourselves instead of badgering people constantly

You will just be wasting your time if you do Arizona. I have all the returning players from last year, and have already started on the incoming class. (4 freshman, 1 JUCO). However if you can do better than this, then have at it.

I agree, and this would be awesome if there are plans to use 2k14 and update it with 2k15 rosters/etc.

However, if you are like me and love college basketball, It would be awesome to have a mod done earlier in the season, so we can enjoy the game even longer. Having all the files ready so we can deliver them to whomever is throwing it together should reduce this time a bit.

What I worry about is if the mod tools we use now will work with 2k15. If not, then we may be stuck with 2k14 and updating that every year until there is tools available to make a complete mod for 2k15 etc.

Also, I know what you mean about people asking you to do stuff once you've contributed. (BTW MM2k14 jukebox was awesome and added so much to the game). Frankly, I appreciate the requests and satisfy some of them when time permits.

I haven't modded in a while and remembered how much of a time eater it is. I spent 4 hours doing the cyberface for Stanley Johnson. Now granted it is some of the best work I've done, but still with a wife, kid, work and school full time, it is hard to find time. That is what makes things that bigh0rt and others have done so impressive.

I'm on board with this project, however I just hope OP has the intestinal fortitude and dedication to make this a success.

Yea, and as my original post implied, the single jukebox file wasn't a big deal - it wasn't a significant contribution by any stretch of the imagination
