This is what I have been working towards all along. A linear career mode similar to the ones in NBA Street games on consoles. Win a game, trade with the losing team to get better, lose, and give up your best for their worst. All while traveling to different courts and playing "street" basketball.

You start with a shitty all-generic team, and play against other generic and NBA players. The further you go, the harder the teams get. The courts will also start with tiny crowds, and progress to larger venues, Rucker Park, and beyond. *I have not made any new courts for this, yet.

I'll try and get a video up describing and showing it off better, but if you want to check it out, you need to have the following downloads (nothing overwrites anything in NBA 2K14 vanilla, there should be no conflicts with any mod).

Future versions will have different NBA players and locations, boss teams, and retro players. I'll also get in the generic crowds without mascots, more uniform options, and eventually new courts.






Hold The Court

Beta this beta that. Long term plans in store for this one but I haven't been able to get a lot of time to work on this and my other projects. Basically, I wanted to have a little mode to play along-side the PS4 games, something that isn't possible on those games. It's a different concept for sure, but its a needed stepping stone for my ultimate goal of doing a linear NBA Street-type career mode.







So you need to choose which season file to load (based on court location) and then play the 5 games, that is all there is to it. Each file uses completely different players, and the uniforms will differ from file to file as well.

There are 8 players per team (to prevent CPU teams from picking up FAs), and you are not supposed to edit your roster at all. If you want to trade for a player off of a team you just beat, go for it, but whatever, you can play this however you want to.

Optional Scoring for Leaderboards
If you want to have some sort of leaderboard for playing these, goto NBA.com when the playoffs start, Stats, Metric Stats, and add together your top 5 EFF ratings, or average your team (it got screwy without being able to have 5 man teams). Feel free to post if you want to brag. This is just a fun little thing I do for myself.


Required Downloads
You need to have the following uniforms installed for this to work.

• Casual Pickup Uniforms (CAT Colors)
• Bigh0rt's Casual Uniforms for Blacktop Revitalization

Then you need the stadium files for the courts in the mod (if they aren't in-game already).
Check downloads.php?cat=177 for the iff files for the court you want to use.

So on the Attack Athletics file, I went 3-2 with a sum EFF rating of 28.9 for all my players.
The combo of Kemba Walker's steal sig skill and euroleague hippy Moss' defensive anchor was huge on D with the no fouls. T-Mac was huge for me with the casual sliders too. Had the most difficulty with Dr. J and Nikki Lukas in the 3rd and 5th games.

Playing it now using 3 minutes, i assume i will double the EFF rating because I'm halfing the Minutes Played?

I'm doing 2 minute quarters. Just mention your EFF rating and the length used I guess

Uploaded some raw gameplay from this, wont bump for the rest since anyone who cares knows where to find those videos. This will be expanded upon to a street career of sorts, when I get a chance to do so, has anyone else tried it?

sorry im kinda noobie to modding still but do you add the RFG files into the folder of where the Street modis or into the saves?

each court for the 5 game Hold The Court thingy has a different set of players, but I didn't generate new sets for the same court. It would be pretty easy to take the arena tab information from one save and apply it to another if you want a different set for a specific court. If you don't have an arena license for RED MC, let me know which court you want the different sets for.

All the info is in the first post, Jao mentioned that this mod doesent replace your regular game files, you can download this without any fear that this is gonna mess up your game, it won t be sure! I already tested it.

so u need to download - All of JaoSming's Street Courts, Bigh0rt's Casual Uniforms for Blacktop Revitalization and Street Career BETA it self. All files goes to your main folder except Street Career.RFG, it goes to your Saves folder.

I have set quarter lenght to 5 minutes, and noticed that only 2 songs are playing and then there is silence, is there a way to make the music play non stop or at least more than just 2 songs?

are you using my jukebox file or someone elses? Songs not being played is usually an issue with a song being too short when imported, so there is too much dead space between it and the next song in the file, making the game not play a new song. Mine has been working fine for me.
