10.25.2013 -- For those interested in getting an early look at a very raw roster, and getting an early peek at my newest uniform creations, here is the NBA Pickup League Beta file. There's extra guys on teams, guys who still need to be placed, 90's and 00's stars who need to be created and added. The list goes on, and on. Still, I'm looking for feedback. Feedback on ratings, feedback on anything.

We shouldn't be too far away from RED MC, looking at Vlad's post. Until then I can keep the rosters as full as the game mandates. Right now I'm more about getting a good mixture over anything.

Great Idea id help but I dont have the skills as of yet to mod but your idea is exactly what came to mind when you released your mods with the nba elite socks and what not fantastic idea. If theres is anything inpartocular you would like as in ideas im free to bounce them off of you. I'M a bit of a sneaker head so I could help In that area. Just pm if you need any help at all.

jampasir will be contributing his phenomenal shoes to this mod, including shoes for Legends of decades past.

Any input on roster pairings? I'm loosely trying to put together 20 teams in the 3rd post. Once I get players on teams, we can discuss shuffling them around for optimization and fun. Looking for any feedback that will be helpful.

In keeping with the more Arcade-style theme of this mod, all players will have all their rankings be in multiples of 10. So you're either a 70, 80, 90, etc. with the exception of 99, which would represent 100. Working on re-rating players now. Still looking for any feedback on the Roster Rough Draft that is above in the 3rd post of the thread.

Harden I can definitely do. Lebron I was kind of interested in putting him with a pure passer like Rubio to see how it mixed. My fear is if I have Lebron run the point that it will be all Lebron all the time (not that it shouldn't be, given the nature of this, I just think it's more fun to have him swing and get up for alley-oops and the like). Any other players who would be more beneficial/fun playing elsewhere in a more Street-style game??

Hey h0rt! Sorry for the delay in sending you those textures and such, been caught up with some things but I did get around to testing out a texture for some nike elite socks for your great project to test the RGB scale and such. I made a very rough version of these socks to test where the middle lies in each sock and found some slight success; I made these for the double mid sock layer but it's the same canvas size for mid long (128 x 128) whereas mid socks are 64 x 64. I attached a png version of the dds layer if you'd like to use it as reference





*Red becomes white when home and black when away, where as the blue remains black; haven't tested green yet

[Cam], that's perfect. When I get home from work I'll tweak it slightly and shoot it back to you to see how it looks. It is the same size model for the shorter socks as well?

The real fun should be able to be replacing the ankle wraps with socks, because the colors are fully customizable, and we aren't limited by the White/Black with trim that we are with the normal sock textures.

Started shuffling players in-game onto the various rosters, just to get a feel for the mix. It's already a lot of fun just toying around with some of the mixtures. I'll definitely need to do some more shuffling once they are more set. Again, any suggestions for pairings or swaps or what have you are more than welcome.

Also working on the custom street accessories, using some of what [Cam] has on his hard drive, making my own textures, and trying to give it a more authentic/different feel from the NBA counterpart.

Ultimately what I'll end up doing is releasing a roster, settings, uniforms, and court files for people who want a 'Lite' version and just want to play, as well as a Full Version which will contain files that will overwrite, such as the Global, street ball, etc. for those who use the JSGME, or separate directories.

Starting to compile different uniforms, and trying to replace coaches with rappers/celebrities fo fun. May even name the teams after them. Want to replace refs too with something else. Any ideas?
